We had an inherited pot like that, nice and worn but threw it away just weeks before I got interested in these types of upcycle sewing. Kicking myself every day for that! I love that red color and all the ways you upcycled.
You are amazing! Love how the planters turned out. (You might want to secure the floral in place with hot glue. Unfortunately there are people who will take from the other and add to the one they are buying). It all looks so festive. Some other great holiday fillers that I've seen, are old books with the covers torn off, stacked three high, and a festive ribbon/bow tied around them. Also firewood quartered and tied with a festive bow. Old music sheets rolled up and tied with bows too. You could also display some quartered firewood/sticks in the big pot (might appeal to people who want to display on their hearth). And filling bowls/jars/baskets with shiny Christmas ball ornaments will always make things move faster.

Love, love, love the reindeer on the red stripe around the white pot. They are totally sweet and my faviorite in this video. In my opinion I wouldn't have used the numbers on the round table top, but that's just me !

Hey Sonnet!! I can't pick a favorite because they all turned out so great! The table with the rooster really looked like grain sack texture. Royce creates some great papers. The big enamel pot turned out great too. Thank you for sharing and for being such a huge inspiration.
Hi Sonnet although I agree with you, I love the distressed part of that tray. I’m wondering if you sprayed it with a clear sealer first if the white paint would stay and not peel up🤷♀️
You always have great projects and your methods are easy to follow and learn from! One question: since IOD inlays are so expensive wouldn't it be better to use stamps or transfers with a metal base, especially since you were planning to heavily distress the piece?

You can seal with a solvent based brush on sealer without the chance of smearing it on an inlay! I learned that from Shannon over at Pickin Boots ❤❤❤
