Hi there.. I just had new seal and bearing installed at dealer in clutch case. I had the old clutch drum housing and shaft put back in. Also new o ring.. now, I just purchased a new drum and shaft and wet clutch. Does the old shaft and housing have to be pressed out and the new pressed in? Dealer said I may ruin the new bearing when removing old shaft.. I literally havent moved the bike since this was done. Just decided at last minute to install all new.
Hi yes you would have to press the drum out of the bearing but if your careful you may be ok but a chance the bearing could get ruined so worst case you’ll need a bearing

@@glen1498 Not sure if I'll ever have to do this again, BUT how much do you want for it?
@@arthurrepass9650 I don’t know I’ll see what I paid for it I think it was like 30 bucks but I’ll check and get back to you.
Hi, i am having trouble removing the clutch housing.... do you have any tips on how you did it?
You mean the clutch drum from the bearing
I think I just used a brass hammer and banged it out I bought a new drum anyway so didn’t care about the old one
