I might add one more advantage of playground compared to chatgpt, it has less censorship/filtering. With some creativity in prompting back & forth, you can make it generate a list of detailed steps on how you can architect a massive slaughter to mankind. 😅

@@DonaAI Id like to see a more deep dive use case on Playground. I remember putting in a bunch of $$ and am walking away. I am thinking if all of this will be embedded into Bard or GPT5 - which should I go into Playground? You could call out the real value.

@teknikcocuk3238 Before it was almost free. You could just setup payment every month for the tokens you use and that was really low (a few cents). Now you need to deposit 5$ minimum on your account :/

Yes they recently changed it and do not offer any free credits to start with 😥. You need to add billing information now.
You can also set a limit of how much you are eager to spend there. The cost is pretty low. For example it cost me a few cents to import the audio of this video and get the subtitles

There are so much ways to do it for free With AI.. but I guess that a few cents = free

I've got ten websites and I generate at least one article per day for each site. I think it costs me between 50 cents and a dollar a day. And I'm not even using very optimized prompts. I still need to take advantage of tokenizing and training to reduce how much info I need to include in each prompt.
FYI, I don't know if I got singled out and penalized by Google Search, or if they did some sort of AI detection update to the algorithm, but I've watched my site rankings go down for the last two weeks or so.
