12:59 - what you were saying about the farmer & the tranquility of the place reminded me of Wordsworth's poem about a shepherd in the Lake District, "The Last of the Flock", where he meets the guy clutching his solitary lamb that he's got left, disaster having gradually overtaken him, and Ted Hughes' "February 17th", also about the grim realities of farming. We see the idyll, they see the grind - and moments of peace too, not all bad of course.
Hi Martha and Mitch, so enjoying your new adventure. Both of you have done really well with your off road riding. CAN'T believe how well Martha has done only passing her motorbike licence 8 months ago. On the 6th of December I finally got my learners license, and picking up my Honda on Wednesday, can't wait. Your utube channel inspired me to get my motorbike license. It's s freeing being on a bike. Hope down the track i can do some adventures here in Australia. Thanks for all your great content, keep safe, all the best Tim Melbourne Australia ❤.
A great ride. Forgive yourself, Martha, give yourself infinite slack when learning. Many times I've taken an uphill bend too wide, saw an obstacle, and slowed down. Off every time. Now I go against common sense and send it. Much better outcomes. Loving-kindness 💜
Absolutely brilliant video I love following your journey every week, your taking me to wonderful places I’m not lucky enough to see myself… thank you stay safe 🤗 xx
Great riding again Martha, you handled the spill so well. It must be tough to just get on with it. Loving these trips TH-cam needs to get you out to more people, inspiring!
Hi Guys, So you have stumbled across our fav ever part of Europe after we travelled over 25 years together, We don’t think you really need to travel to the Sahara as this part of Spain Galicia Astoria etc has everything you would ever want, the coast route is incredible also full of hidden surf beaches. Please just change this trip to a Northern Spain trip and drink water Marth. Loving this from an Ex Flying Gunner carry on the amazing riding it’s very impressive to see, Geordie, Kate , Dutch and Dylan. Your next fall won’t be far away but just relax and know it’s gonna happen. X
Hi Martha & Mitch, we are in awe of your adventures and especially Martha’s improving skills on the bike. We completed the Picos de Europa in our 7m Motorhome (both ways) this summer and thoroughly enjoyed the drive. As bikers we feel for you both on every bump and the rare drop. Would it help if you had a lighter rucksack on your back as your centre of gravity looks high with that heavy pack? If you can’t offload it to the bike (or Mitch) then perhaps, secure it tighter to your body. Bungees rule!
As usual: Your videos are a joy to watch. Sincere, even when it does not go according to plan. Martha, you've come a long waay from March. Sorry you didn't hear the alarm signals (hand/arms/shoulders tired), being knackered brought you down in the hairpin. Have to ride the Picos in 2026! Günter/Nürnberg
Funny I wondered whether you might bump into Ms Sprockett in that neck of the woods. Difficult for us to see how steep & gnarly it is on camera but Martha you're doing great, Mitch as well with how supportive he is...
A friendly piece of advice - next time after the first "shit" give her more throttle. Don’t try to muscle her up, you’ll never do it once it’s leaning that much on such a slope. Give her more throttle and 90% of the time, you’ll be just fine :)
This advice is 100% correct. She saw the big rock because she was looking down instead of looking ahead. I will add a couple things: 1. Do not look down look straight ahead. 2. If you see something coming up that you think will cause you to lose your balance then throttle up and relax. The bike can handle it. 3. Get body armor that covers your shoulders and elbows. You do not need chest armor.
You two are having a blast! Thanks for sharing your adventures. 🎉 Get yourselves Scott Oilers they start about £20 I think. Keep your chains well oiled.
Sometimes I think we can be very good friends. We are the same age and look at life through the same window, I can feel it. If you would like to come Island called Cyprus in the Mediterranean sea, I would like to meet you in person guys.. Cheers.. Keep safe
Your salty food reminds me of when I went back packing around Europe with my make Nick. We were making our way back from Portugal with about £40 between us and a loaf of bread and some jam. We were offered some food on the train from some Spanish people and gratefully accepted some chicken escalopes in a batter. They were so salty that we could not eat them. Nick went to the toilet and got rid of his and I sat mine down the side of the seat but there is a radiator there and you could smell it cooking. I would like to take this opportunity to apologise to our kind fellow travellers and the train cleaners, my excuse is that I was young and foolish

Could you send a GPS track from today's episode?
I don't know for sure where they were driving but map on 1:46 looks very similar to TET spain. If it is TET you can download it on official website.
@s777nserg you are right! Actually I found it just after I finished watching the vid. Thanks anyway 👍
