Nicola has the best answer for everything! But I will stand with the bill segment, people should pay what they owe, nothing more nothing less, and if the tip is less than recommended people can pitch in as they please. Tipping is a grey area anyways ethically!
Wholeheartedly disagree with splitting the bill if you only got a salad or something small on the menu. Sorry bro, I'm not paying for your lobster, wine, and dessert.
The splitting the bill thing is a cultural difference between UK and America. In US we all just pay for what we ordered and that is normal (generally each seat is its own bill pretty much everywhere for ease). If it is split evenly, and one person has ordered something small and everyone else ordered a lot, that is super rude to the person that didn’t order a lot.
I love everything about them but they lost me at splitting the bill 😅If I ordered just a salad and the person next to me ordered the whole menu, best believe I’m only paying for my salad.
Eh. I'm gonna have to call them out about that split the bill business. There is usually one person who orders the most expensive crap they can and eat more than everybody else. Yet, they expect everyone to split the bill evenly. I don't think so. Nobody else ordered lobster, wine, and six appetizers that they plan to take home. You ordered it; you pay for it.
I was thinking the EXACT same thing. like, I just got a salad for a reason… why am I now having to help pay for the appetizer and two glasses of wine YOU got 😂
Not in my friends group. If someone is tight on money and can't afford dinner, they either say it and we all chip in or they simply don't come. If we're there, we all split the bill evenly, no questions asked. Maybe it's because I'm in the Netherlands. It's weird to take home leftovers so no one orders more then they can eat and it's also weird (and rude) to eat and drink a lot more than everyone else. There will be questions asked if someone did that.
Watching all of Nic and Luke’s interviews and the love they have for each other makes me miss the friendship I used to have with a dear friend of mine. Unfortunately, he and I grew apart, but at one point we were inseparable like this. Completely platonic, it was such a beautiful friendship. ❤
Nah hard disagree with the splitting the bill one cause if a person just had a salad and you had something fancy then why do you expect the other person to cover half the price for something they didn't even eat... This only benefits you as you have to pay less but its just so unfair to the other person...
I think splitting the bill only makes sense if youre buying platters to share. Otherwise just pay what you ate? Like i would never expect my friend to pay for my food when they barely ate anything.
10% is a normal tip everywhere except the US and tipping isn’t even that common in the uk tbh, so if I was with someone who tipped 10% I would just think how nice it was that they tipped at all 😂 I rarely tip unless it was above and beyond, but of course I would always tip in the US because I understand it’s a different system and culture there
My sil is super guilty of the candid picture thing, found out later she deliberately picked the worst ones of me. I have stayed out of her lane for my entire relationship with the family and very polite. I finally said, unless you can spend 5 mins with me visiting you cannot take pics. Shut her down after she threw an adult fit. Actually, my first time standing up to a family narcissist/
the airplane thing actually happened to me, i did exactly what they said except the person had their seat reclined all the way back for the full 6 hours so the meals were my only excuse to get them to give me some space…..
Don’t agree for the split bill, if i only order salad, I don’t want to pay for people who ordered expensive food, also, if I feeling fancy and want to order something more expensive, I’ll feel bad if my friend who order something less expensive has to pay more because of me.
@seanmegan1278 i don't know how it could be, the snivelly "but i jUsT hAd a SaLaD" was making their views pretty clear. Maybe it's UK culture I don't know
Dont agree about splitting the bill. If I order one small thing I'm not splitting the bill with someone who ordered things way beyond over the value of wht i did doesnt have to be exact same but ive had dinner with people who ordered $100+ of food each while i got a small dish and was expected to split evenly... yeah no...I think it's actually more rude of the person getting the expensive item or ordering a lot to even assume it will be split in the first place.
they literally go from "your friend could be broke, you don't know people's situations" to "i hate the 'i OnLy hAd tHe SaLaD'" folks. YEAH YALL LOST ME
X to splitting the bill - i'll pay my fair share and in no way am obliged to pay for your exquisite 3 course meal and drinks X to tipping full stop. It's my discretion, you can't judge someone's tipping behaviour because its ultimately their judgement of the service they were provided. Also we do not have a tipping culture in the UK. Maybe the government of such countries should give a base national minimum wage that's appropriate rather that having tips make up for the gap in pay. I can say this with experience having worked in America for a year and know the hospitality industry is one of the worst impacted industries effected by this nonsense.
To be honest, it should be just titled "how to deal with people being assholes" 😂😅 common courtesy here is just them being adorable British as well, not brutally straightforward as be rude or hurtful...
Definitely not paying for something I haven't eaten. If I ate a salad with water and everyone else had seafood with cocktails etc am not paying for their food like nooo wayyyyy
the amount of interviews we've been fed with is everything to me
fr. like every time i refresh my youtube there's a new interview
seriously. I don't think I've ever watched so much press leading up to the release of a season or movie before, but so ready for the season already.
Same. I hope it doesn't stop anytime soon.
I'm here for all of it!
They’re trying to make up for making us wait 2+ years for a new season lol
Omg Nicola's hair is just so ethereal, absolute goddess😭😭
Loe them together. Good friendship, but chemistry through the roof!
Luke and Nicola never miss! Always engaging, always sweet and the best BFFs
I'm just a total sucker for any Bridgerton content!!
Nicola has the best answer for everything! But I will stand with the bill segment, people should pay what they owe, nothing more nothing less, and if the tip is less than recommended people can pitch in as they please. Tipping is a grey area anyways ethically!
“We don’t go watch them at work” 😂
her hair is so stunning!!
This couple made me addicted with the series 🥰🥰 would love to see them for all seasons (until the end of franchise).

Exactly!
This!

I've always done this no matter how rude it looks. People have to see it from everyone's point of view
@@byfelicia0319it’s the same in the UK. We only pay for what we had.
This is how there feeding us until the 16th😅
they are so sweet 😭
She’s ✨GORGEOUS✨
I love everything about them but they lost me at splitting the bill 😅If I ordered just a salad and the person next to me ordered the whole menu, best believe I’m only paying for my salad.

These two are just amazing 🥹
I Love How Ridiculously In Tune With Each Other They Are!!! ❤️
These interviews are keeping me sane 😂
Love love Nicola and her stories....and her honesty...thank you

T&C your cover and other photos of these two are DREAMY!!!
Nicola's hair here is iconic, I will think about it the rest of the day

I was so confused by that answer. I wonder if it's a cultural difference? Maybe American friend groups tend to be more mixed-income than in the UK?
Tipping 10% in continental Europe is absolutely normal, you dudes are crazy.
i love thé way nicola laughs after she answers lol
Omg they are both so darling, I can't ❤❤
These two are just great! ❤
Such well thought answers and polite people
Living for these two content!!
I love them and I think the only way I can wait 28 more days for part 2 is if they give us content like this💘
love them
Great answers!
Lovely people ❤ .
Did the interviewer pull all these questions from AITA on reddit? Feels like I've seen them all 😆
This comment section is 50 % discussions over splitting the bill and 50 % gushing over Luke and Nicola
I love them so muchh
I watched one Bridgerton interview and now my whole feed is Bridgerton.
La dama.del momento🎉
I WAS LOOKING FOR THIS INTERVIEW AFTER I saw that short 😂
Such a good interview
I love themmmmm
Nicola would hate going out to dinner with many of us Dutch people 😂

What a weird take on splitting the bill?? Obviously if someone had just a salad and others had a full course meal AND drinks?!?!?!
I think they must have changed the context in the editing.... this take is just too bizarre.

In America, people split the bill and are tight with tipping lol
@EtalkCTVWho's Luke Newton's secret girlfriend? Taping this and see where it lives too
They LEFT midway through 2018 HAMILTON? Insanity
To be honest, it should be just titled "how to deal with people being assholes" 😂😅 common courtesy here is just them being adorable British as well, not brutally straightforward as be rude or hurtful...
Hahahahahahahahahahaha!!!! I LOVE THEM!!!! Too funny!!!
I don't know what they saying.. I'm too busy looking at Nicola.
