She’s so CLEAN with it oh my god. Sora is OG for a reason because she killed this recording.
Counting the number of episodes of HoloGra she has done over the years and the how long she has been a vtuber, she has more than enough experience voicing anything at this point. 🤔

@@NekRulez That’s what I mean when I call her OG: she’s so experienced that on a dime she gave a VA performance that matched the tone of the attacks, as well as the timing, and did multiple takes with a virtually silent background. It’s so cool to witness!

To be fair she probably would have to talk to her manager, record it, send the recording o her manager for approval and then send it to the dev. Or it goes through management first even, since you'd want to contact all of them.
This way it's just done like that within the stream and brings extra entertainment + no questions for those who have voice clips from other streams
Only ollie that get a request from the dev, that i know of. But who knows if in the future more holo mem would like to VA for it.

I'm not sure and could be completely wrong, but i think if they went through the official channels with cover to get their recordings it might end up having to be an officially licensed hololive game which might bring all sorts of beaurocratic red tape for the devs and hamper their freedom. this seems like a good loophole.

You can tell she has experience with voice acting. She did various takes takes to make sure to give something good.
Also, that defeated voice...
It wasn’t even just that. She also gave subtle variations of the same line so the line doesn’t get too repetitive at actual play.
She’s 100% done this before.
IIRC didn't some of the hologirls to a collab for a gacha game? I can't remember if Sora was part of tge collab though

@@LFanimes333 She has, it's not just your suspicion. Sora has voice lines floating around the internet that have nothing to do with hololive, I found them while looking up stuff about her.
For casting and stuff, she has tried the VA route.

As a former post sound guy I'm torn. One part of me is basking in the glory of nice, clean, custom voice clips. The other part of me is moaning in horror remembering all the hours spent cataloguing, editing, and cleaning voice samples from streams only for it all to be for nothing. 😂
Edit: to be clear, I didn't work on the game! Just some sympathy for a fellow sound guy.
On one hand, damn that's rough. But on the bright side, sunk cost fallacy and this is a massive upside!
But it wasn't for nothing :)

This is how you know she's a pro. She spams the sound/line with minor alterations and does it cleanly.
And even does it while doing the various moves to make sure the timing fits

This game has the most natural flowing collab of a lifetime. No begging the talents. The talents got encouraged to provide themselves. Sasuga Collab
The quality of the game speaks for itself, and the girls are just wholeheartedly embracing it, you love to see it.
Most of these are better than the current voice lines used, but I hope they keep the current note singing lines cause they sound so good and are addicting to listen to

I like that the girls are always willing to support the devs that make these fan games. Perhaps some day we'll see full voice acting in the "story mode" too.

Out of three members so far, this one feels like a proper recording session the most.
She went through her entire movelist and curated the whole thing.
Sora's professionalism and experience in recording really shines here, doing multiple takes for every move/animation just so they have options and can pick the right one.
Or maybe even have multiple voice lines for the same move that sound slightly different to make it sound less repetitive.
Protect her at all costs!

@@scurreith3667 Yea ofc for more suitable voice-line directed is needed, since most of them decide to give voice based on the alrd existed sample is good enough, can get more cleaner voice
@@darkrow8488 yeah, it’s just that Sora as a character as well as her VA feel more like the type to let out a weak cry upon being defeated opposed to the standard you hear from most fighting game characters when defeated.
