@@SammyOmaneChara is very terse, violent, manipulative (towards Asriel), and pessimistic. Meanwhile Clover is very optimistic, friendly, outgoing, and peaceful (unless you do geno).
@@SammyOmane even at his lowest of morality, clover still loves humans, as proven in the axis fight, whereas Chara hates humans simply because they got bullied. Based on some pieces of dialogue, clover might have been abused or neglected by his parents and yet would be willing to give his life for humankind (and monsters) in the pacifist route. And before you say anything, while the monster’s imprisonment probably is one of the reasons Chara hates humanity, if that were the only reason they wouldn’t have forced Asriel to go up to the surface to kill the humans considering Asgore, up to that point, didn’t want to start a war with the humans again. So they probably did it for personal reasons rather than for monsterkind
