- I cover the 3rd and final track needed to get all golds in the Vettel X challenge. I will be going into detail of each corner, and showing you how to get that gold medal time.

You need to put the Steering controller sensitivity to 7. (Don't report for spamming... I'm helping people)

After years of not being able to beat this (barely getting bronze) I
have some tips for those that are doing this with a DS3.
First off, have it as an automatic, it's one less thing you have to
worry about, and it works just fine.
Second (and the most important thing that NO ONE has mentioned).
When coming up, or turning in a corner, keep your finger on the gas, and
hold the brake at the same time (or slightly letting off gas/brake if
needed). Doing this allows the car to create downforce and will fly thru
the corners much faster than doing what most people do in any other car
(that is, letting off gas, then brake, going thru corner then on gas).
This single handily improved my times drastically.
Finally, I normally prefer the 3rd camera angle, but doing this in first
person allows you to see where the tires are, and just seems to give
you a better depth perception over all. Once you get use to it, you'll
see what I mean.
Good luck. Getting gold gives you a different colored Redbull, but specs
and everything else are the exact same.
I've finally managed the gold on this, with a DS3. I can't thank you enough oink. The Platinum that will be in my collection tomorrow (after the a-spec level 40 trophy is done tomorrow) is down to you and these videos. Thank you.

Thanks for the videos, I managed to get all gold tonight in 2 hours or so. I'd already got silver and just decided to get gold's tonight, your videos helped a lot, mainly for the lines especially the suzuka one :)

Thanks for this. Finally got gold with help from you video. I did a poor first lap on my gold run, 1:06 but pulled it back with a sub 1.04 on the second lap. Every corner is so important, i could of gone even faster on my second lap but i messed up the exit to the hairpin.

I really can't comment as to which part of it I think is the hardest to learn. The biggest thing for me was the mental game. I knew I had it made, I just needed all my perfect turns to be in one race.
I finally ended up with a 1:05.350 first lap, and a final time of 2:09.505. Needless to say I saved that replay, and watch it for a good pick-me-up.
Many thanks for this upload..finally got the golds on all three challenges this week..I used a Driving Force GT wheel but I used auto trans and abs on 10.. used auto gears due to the car being so fast i could not keep up with counting the gear change, also i seem to have a faulty down shift button. I found that Monza was almost too easy after spending almost three days straight on the suzuka track. Nurburg took me about six hours in total. Nice to see the platinum trophy come up at the end...
That's incredible driving, mate. Just completed all three with bronze using the Controller. I completed Suzuka in about 40 mins.

30 minutes after posting this, I did 2:09.900 and got my trophy..
Word of advice, don't race for long long hours.. You tend to get itchy when you feel you're going to do it.
Also about the course.. The key is the first 5 turns.. If you can do 0.28.30, you're good to go. 28.00 is good, 28.6 is a %99 loss..
I must say, that without your tutorials i wouldnt have bronzed all three challenges, im a slow driver and i dont have the patience for hours and hours of hard work, so bronze will have to do it for me lol thanks a lot man, youre definitely subscribed from now on :D
Thought so. I may be making an investment on a wheel soon. How long approx. did it take to do each one?

Hey mate, used your guide for nurb one and golded it within an hour after watching ... however the first split in this challenge has me stumped. No matter what line i take i cant get the car flat out through the first few corners through the S's. i HAVE to back off, no matter what. Im using DS3 with auto trans and SRF on. golded other 2 easily, but my best split so far through the first sector is 28.7, cant get anywhere near a 28.0 ?
After close to a week of effort I finally got this. I can't thank you enough.
Hey man, its Unizz09 again i used ur nurburgring video earlier this week :) now i used this one, i got the gold man! but lol i contradicted ur idea of restarting if i dont get 1.05.5 on the first lap, i got a 1.06.1 in the first lap! then drove 'phenomenaly' fast like u sed and managed to get a 1.09.992. Thanks ever soo much i'de like you to see the video sometime, ill upload it soon.
Woah! I actually played it about 102 rounds and fainted on the last lap it was so like keep going keep going i got disqualified my!.122 at first then in the bronze by tenth of a second, thanks for the video now I'm going to put some gas right on vettle's car and light it on fire i was just so pissed off at this race its probably the most heart pounding competition i was using a DS3
I also found that the timing displays and the ghost car were a real distraction so I turned everything off including so I could just concentrate on getting two clean laps. This seemed to really help as when the display was on i kept looking at my split times and while doing this I kept missing the next corner....perhaps it's just me....
another useful item i forgot oink those trying this challenge can turn forcefeed back down to the minimum (1) in the settings because the logitec reacts dramatically making it hard to focus on driving on the fastest line which is straight between two points.
how many times have u tryed ding this event n whats ur best lap times on it?
nissan 350z's and the second and third generation rx7's are good but once you get the feel since not many people like drift try the drift cars from blitz, hks etc you have to adjust suspension accordingly and have fun
@oinkoink8383 sensitivity at 7 which is max as it should be for all serious racers. i know the line to take, but somehow no matter how perfect i get it, it's impossible. Is it a wheel v ds3 thing? How easily can you take the line flat out?
do you recommend AT (Automatic transmission) or MT better? thx

10 ABS recommended, and it's easier
I got 2;10.3 with 1 abs
And 2;09.9 with 10 abs

@SLASH308 Yeah mate, been doing this for hours now, and i cant get anywhere near flat out through the S's. In your vid you even have a split second of straight line at the left hander, im opposite lock perfect line and still need to back off to be able to get through. Best at the first sector is usually 28.6-7, im fine for rest of lap, just that section letting me down. Love to know why im being disadvantaged lol

i got gold in nurburg and monza but suzuka was impossible. i was only able to get it down to 2:10.9xx something like that. it was impossible. i did more than 5 hours straight. took a break did it again and i was lucky to get 1:5.7xx first lap and 1:5.3 second lap. i saw some videos and the braking point was different and i was not able to mimic the same break point. I JUST FIGURED OUT THAT I HAD SKID FORCE RECOVERY OFF FOR THE ENTIRE VETTEL CHALLENGE. got gold with SRF on after 1st try 2:08:3xx

The first time I tried it, it was near impossible. After I finished the game, I managed 2.13 in a few tries, than 2:11 in half an hour. 2:10.7 in 2 hours. 2:10.3 in 3 hours.
And.. After 6 more hours, I managed 26 more scores between 2:10.0 to 2:10.5... I even did 2:10.031, 2:10,044, and 2:10.005 and ~10 2:10.1..
I managed 1:05.220 at first lap and 1:04.114 at the second, which means 2:09.3 is possible with a perfect run..
But.. I've yet to get gold (and Platinum Trophy)... Damned LUCKK...
Have been doing for three hours but still unable to beat 2:10.017
silver is the best i can do with a ds3 at the moment, the esses at the start of the lap are a pain in the butt, got the speed round the rest of the lap though

at special events and you have to be level 30
i actually cheated to get gold by switching the G27 for the fanatec BMW wheel the closest i got with G27 was 1.10.012 with the BMW 1.9.949, 1st lap: 1.5.871, 2nd lap 1.4.078. i think for fun i will target a 1.4.500 1st lap and a 1.3.700 2nd lap if i get to keep the wheel(BMW). with the G27 i was sweating and freeking out. with the BMW i was relaxed somehow and it bore results your 1st lap was faster but i changed gear strategy to vastly improve on the second and caught vettel on d chicane.

first five corners are the toughest... everything else is not that hard

@oinkoink8383 It must be, i just watched a few videos of DS3 golds, all of them had to back off on the first right hander of the S's, and they're usual first sector was 28.5 or so. Im only 0.567 off gold, but thats pushing hard, ill just keep tryin! lol. Cheers mate.
5 Years on I'm having the same problem, guessing 28.0 is impossible with DS3? I can't get below 28.8 at the moment. Hot lap I can do 27.0 - figured that would translate to a 28.3 at most but apparently not.

I needed 10 mins for Monza and 1.30 hours for Nürburgring as it was the first time driving the car after many years.

I got bronze on 2 of these challenge with DS controller, but this challenge is fucking impossible

I can't do it, even with help like this. Man I hate this game. It could have been so much better if it was made with an option to make it easier for those who like racing but aren't good at it. And also if they got rid of the fucking jazz music on the menus. And why are there so few cars available??? there's supposed to be about 1000! theres only about 100-150. gt4 was so much better in nearly every way.
