Rebuilt the tail the other day & I gently knocked that little plastic holder in boom for servo wire's & had perished badly, so bad it crumbled into dust. Just watch for this because losing tail servo is a bad day! I run mine 6s & love the Kraken! Spinal for 500-580 are the same.
i have a kracken 580 and a tron 5.8 and prefair the Tron as it just flies better....but thats not to say someone better in every way...cleaner and clinical through the air. Everytime i take the Kracken out i am checking the motor belt for tension and i dont like this second belt on Goblin ....however i love the shape of the Goblin and visability in the air as you say is great. If you are a serious 3D smack flier they all seem to go for the RAW versions.....i expect its easier access to repair in relation to access and is less fussy with decorative plastic.
I just got. Raw 580 Nitro! Bigger than I thought coming from a T-Rex 450 n Goo-sky S2! Goal is to tame this Beast! Might be a bit more than I can chew… I run Nitro trucks!
I’m agonizing over this decision at the moment. I REALLY like the look of the Kraken but a $90 tail boom is hard to justify. One thing you didn’t mention is what happens if they stop making that Kraken tail boom? At least with the Raw you could probably find a tube that you can make work. I tend to keep my heli’s for a long time of which all seven are fly barred except for one I just converted. Getting parts has become quite difficult with no parts being available for a couple of them. It’s very frustrating. Sab seems to have been around for a long time and I have noticed that many of their parts seem to cross over to their other models so I’m thinking parts availability might be better in the long term than some other manufacturers. Decisions decisions…..🤔

It’s bigger than the 450! Gosh. Got the a OS55 and Torque Servos. So excited for my first build.
