    You should make the videos going over the specific events.

    Wow you did an AMAZING job with this video. Explained everything accurately, well, and you had great videos to show what you were talking about in the voice over. Scoring gymnastics is so complicated and I’ve never heard anyone explain it in a more simple way. Again, amazing job with the videos aspect. I loved the clips you used and got of yourself. Great job!

      Thanks. I’m excited to make more videos like this but I also don’t want to make the entire focus of my channel on gymnastics.

    Would love a full video on pommel horse D scores (composition requirements and the most common elements)!! As a primarily WAG fan its so hard for me to pick up on the differences between the skills.

      I will definitely make that. Pommel horse probably has the most complicated rules of the 6 events. It’s hard to tell what’s going on without understanding the skills.

      Pommel horse is all about hand placement and position which makes it probably the most technical of all the Artistic Gymnastics events.

    Excellent explanation!
    As someone who doesnt know anything about gymnastic this was very helpful for understanding the difficulty of the sport.
    I would love to see more videos about it!

    Was there any particular incident (or individual person) which triggered the revamp of the scoring system by the International Gymnastics Federation in 2006?

    You know i thought you would get .5 for the dismount category and .3 or .5 additional points depending on the difficulty of the skill

    Complicated but well explained. How do they reconcile scores from different judges?

    • @RyabThatBaconGuy
      @RyabThatBaconGuy 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you’re asking if two judges give a different score to a routine, than they just average them together. For example:
      Judge A gives a 15.1
      Judge B gives a 15.3
      Final score would be a 15.2
      Of course the judges scores have to within a certain range of each other so ensure one isn’t being biased.

  • @kameronc2615
    @kameronc2615 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Wait so does each judge determine the D-score and E-Score at the same time or is there two different panels? Is this also true for women gymnastics?

    • @halfway7690
      @halfway7690 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      In WAG there's two panels for execution and difficulty so most likely the same for men.
