    The Mighty Quinn cover is excellent. Should have released it as one of the bonus materials in his 4th album

    Fuckin amazing show. Tight vocals and performances from all and Noel remains one of my all time favorite song writers. What he said about writing every meaningful Oasis song made me go back and look at all the songs both of them wrote and I gotta say that's mostly true, at least from a biased perspective as all my own personal favorite songs were his creations. But I can definitely see how some people wouldn't see it that way. I'm just glad both of their music careers are staying strong despite the continued hostility lingering between them. As long as they keep performing and writing then I'll be a happy fan.

    There's a greatness in the averageness about the Gallagher music. It's never been nothing complex nor groundbreaking, and althought he's not cut all bonds to Oasis' legacy, since the departure he's even realized styles and tones can vary a bit and the most of the stuff he does now is really rock solid, well-performed and produced music with a perfect band for its purpose.
    I've listened to his music like 17-18 years now and no more I am to think if I'm into it or not, it's become a definition of what music is for me these days.
    Master of pop-rock/new wave in that sense.

    Amazing rendition of Don't Look Back in Anger. I've watched this concert after watching a Liam concert and whilst I enjoyed Liam singing all the old classics. It was a bit sad to see the songs had no new treatment, nothing new. Played exactly as they were on the records. Comparing the musicality between the two bands is like chalk and cheese. NGHFB are on a totally diff level. But I loved both concerts so much!

    Wow I was not expecting to see a great interview with Noel between songs! He speaks his mind, and now my hopes of an Oasis reunion are destroyed. Sad to hear his disdain for all the albums between Be Here Now and Don't Believe the Truth. BHN is one of my favorites.

    I’m one of the Oasis fans that enjoys the new stuff too. Also would never choose one of the brothers over the other because I went to 12 Oasis gigs to watch both oh them and their different styles.
    Hope both keep making music for a long time, my kids all love Oasis and the solo careers.

    Problem wasn't the album of BE HERE NOW, it was the gap between 98 to 00 of no new music that killed the bands momentum. Nobody cared at that point, which makes it strange that his solution is that they should've waited 5 YEARS after MORNING GLORY, didn't do so well for the Stone Roses

    • @tomgardiner2490
      @tomgardiner2490 ปีที่แล้ว

      Agreed but if he'd waited longer after Morning Glory, then they'd have reflected upon the Be Here Now songs and maybe added 2-3 other new ones to replace the duffs that were Magic Pie, Fade In Out and then reduced the whole sound/length of the album. Put Where Did it All go Wrong and Go Let It Out on a stripped back BHN and it could've been a 4/5 album

    Noel's music have far better instrumental music, but Liam has far better vocals and lyrics. That's why these two brothers miss each so much. Both are still doing good stuff, just not legendary stuff ...

    • @footballvslife2413
      @footballvslife2413 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Prefer Noel's lyrics as he gives them more meaning because he wrote them. Liam's lyrics can sometimes be a bit basic and like they were written by someone else...but I agree his vocal delivery is a lot better. Noel's are more introspective and Liam's are anthems for a generation.
      That's just my view
