Big fan of eco-filtration. I've got one of those little air bars hooked up to a mk2 ozone unit in a 1000L grow on tank in a greenhouse and it has kept the water sparkly and clear for about a year without needing a UV. Haven't had to change the connector on the air bar yet but it is only getting ozone 5 x 1 hour a day.
@@wonkypagoda that's cool to hear. I know there is still alot of skepticism about ozone In general. Very useful tool for all sorts. I won't overstock without one again. An yeah Eco offers some great value parts which is always more than welcome in this hobby. Cheers for commenting 🙂👍
So good to see a TH-camr using an ozone generator. I've had 1 for 2 1/2 years & there fantastic, but to most koi keepers, it might as well be witch craft

Cracking review bud I would say one of the only reviews that has given enough time to give a honest review on the ozone purifier. Thinking I'm converted bud.
Talking of kactoily i could never get the orp reading right was always out when compared to my normal orp meter. Kactoily sent me the upgraded 7 in 1. Difference is when looking inside it had the probes in glass the new one orp reader are prongs. Readings have been spot on since.
I didn't know you could run ozone directly into the pond via a bubble ring I always thought you had to have it running into a sump or a protein skimmer so I assume the fish swimming through the bubbles aren't affected by the ozone
@@garrydavis3517 no mate no issues been doing it well over a year too an no problems. I would however prefer to run it separately just for my price of mind but that's just my comfort. There's quite a few ozone videos on the channel and a playlist too 😊👍
@@OrchardKoi Milwaukee digital orp controller 510 might be worth getting I have one and it controls the amount of ozone going in and shuts down when it reaches the required water clarity worth a look they are good

Hi Dave, A other great review on the ozonair purifie unit mate the fish are looking great mate also where about are you based when we spoke is the rugby club that you play rugby at is it in Charlton Road mate. Steve
So it produces the same amount per hour as the other unit at 500mg/ph , the difference being if your running it 24/7 Vs the recommended 2 on 1 off your effectively getting an extra 8 hours dose. So an extra 4000mg over that time period less if you used 3 on 1 off , if my maths hasn't failed me tonight 🤣😊👍
