@@tm8747 it just depends on the time of the year you will be there. Different beaches or shore access are better through out the season. Early season it is better to find the rock drop off from shore such as warrior, spider, or down by the marina. You will see tufa rock formations that are good indicators. Later on in the season the sand shore accesses are better. Such as windless, pelican or the nets.
Were u fishing from bout where the road turns to gravel at Warrior down to the ranch on way to monument? Was thinking of tubing the area couple hundred yards down from where the road ends and working north.

Yeah that is where we caught most of the fish. Staying in about 20-40 feet of water. More flat littoral zones that didn't have a large drop off.
Thanks for the info. Maybe I will try that spot next time. Been fishing Warrior point last couple times and like to stay away from the crowds.
