Actually, it could've been neat if like, say, Samos and the others tried to rebuild Sandover Village in Jak 3 since they saw in 2 that Samos's hut was still there. I think Samos at the least would want to restore his old home.
It's kind of sad to me that, although Sandover Village exists in all 3 games in some form, the first one is the only one you get to really play in it in =(
"To a boy seeking freedom, this island is a prison, surrounded by water; and so this boy sought to escape his prison, and opened his heart to darkness."
Haha I guess it is in a way. The metal heads are a lot like the heartless in KH. I'm sure they just ripped sandover apart the moment they flew through the rift gate.
Take a look at this tiny place. To the heart seeking freedom, this island's a prison. Surrounded by water. And so this boy sought out to escape his prison. He sought a way to crossover into other worlds. And he opened his heart to darkness.
Someone needs to Mod Jak 3 and make this a nightmare scenario, maybe take place after Jaks mind gets transferred to the Dark Precursor ship, keep everything in black and white except for Jak, maybe even after some exploring he turns around as sees the rift gate has appeared at Samos' hut and sees himself and the others going in and Kor coming out then everything flashes and Sandover Village is Decimated and Kor appears and tells Jak that this is what he caused, that Jak is responsible for the destruction of the world he grew up in and now you gotta fight Kor again. Far fetched but the modding community is amazing, get this to someone lol
That doesn't make sense. Sandover Village will not be destroyed at this point because if he didn't defeat Kor in the past, then young Jak wouldn't have traveled to Haven City in the first place.
@@kavokonkav it would be a dream scenario, sandover village most likely was destroyed by the metal heads, when young Jak goes to the past it is many years before the events of TPL
I was lucky enough to buy a PlayStation magazine with a free demo disc when I first bought a PS2 back around 2003 ( A birthday gift for a nephew). This is so trippy to see. Jak 3 Jak riding the jetboard in a strange version of sandover village.
Jak 2 does the same thing with debug mode
I wonder if this is where Jak goes in his nightmares
Will find out, and then dream is shattered
This is so eerie. It feels like a sort of nightmare that Jak would have. Creepy 😶

Crazy to see sandover village in jak 3,we all knew it was in jak 2 tho.
So does jak 1
In jak 2 make sense with the opening cinematic, but in Jak 3 looks so weird to see. I wonder what project had in mind naughty dog at those times

Nice to see Sandover is in all 3 main Jak games.
This kind reminds me of revisiting Destiny Islands.
Wait was Jak 1 just a expanded exploring Destiny Island before it's all consumed sequence?

Planet Tallon IV music from Metroid Prime can be heard.

Unfortunately not, it's just a leftover that was used in Jak II's intro
