My first ROTC Class, in 1982, someone brought up Starship Troopers. (the book) . . . it was an interesting conversation., about how there are citizens, and there are residents. Only those who had served in the military had the right to vote. everyone thought it was a really cool idea. I made a mental note to read it. Never got around to it. I remember hearing there was a movie made based on the book - I always meant to watch it; never got around to it. Then in recent months I watched it. GREAT movie. That bullshit about being too busy to watch some great movies sometimes was a stupid mistake on my part. I was probably working or skydiving or doing something for my army reserve unit or chasing women or something. I only have 20-30 more years to watch Starship Troopers over and over again. A wasted life.
Was at an indoor range down in tenessee visiting a relative. Was firing about 2 or 3 rds per second dumping 3 mags in rapid succession and the range officer comes over. Im thinking great here we go. He informs me the brass was pooling at my feet behind me and not to slip. Really didnt expect that one.
I would genuinely love to see a wendigoon collab, and honestly I think he would be down for it (also he called you dad in his guntuber tier list, but did only put you at b tier)

Speaking of Fud RSO’s. I was recently shooting at a local range. Had my heritage revolver out. Had the cylinder off the frame. Range was called cold. The RSO insisted that I needed to insert a chamber flag into the barrel.
Brandon, I just watched your update on your AK 50 BMG V-3 and heard your call out for a machine shop, and I thought of Steve Morris Engines, he builds EXTREMELY high-end racing engines (most noticeably a big block for Cleetus McFarland). The collaboration could work well for both of you. give him a call.
Love all your shows! As a kid I was a big fan of Robert Heinlein...read all his books. Starship Troopers is loosely based on a book of his by the same name. Not a great movie, I guess, but I do enjoy watching it and have seen it many times. And, I have actually been on the Bug's planet! Those scenes were filmed in WY at a place called Hell's Half Acre. Actually way bigger than a half acre...it was a very cool experience for me and I took a bunch of pics. After filming, they totally cleaned up any trace that they were there... Anyway, keep up the good work!
