Very nice simple steps to learn and keep add more complicating steps later. ECS is most popular in America and other countries.

The white legs, light shoes, frilly dress are the funniest to watch, can see all the fun moves. She does it so well

Excellent teaching. Best that I have watched. I am looking at taking lessons after watching couple dance at local place. It was beautiful watching them!

Hi Sir, I really do like your way to teach. 👍👍👍
It reminds me my Danish teacher, many years ago.
Her teaching way was clear and professional as yours.
You instill, inside to the beginner, your positivity.
I find that the girl, wearing a black dress whom you danced with at the end of the vid, is really at ease on this dance.
    Greetings from 🇨🇭

You're my kinda guy, I appreciate your approach and repetition. I teach as well, and have to "Be the man" the majority of the time. Knowing and teaching both sides, male and female is no easy task... Thanks for your friendly, fun and helpful videos (You make me a better man 😁) - Karri

As someone who has trouble learning dance, I completely appreciate what you are doing. Unfortunately, the dance I went to was West Coast swing and had an awful experience. But I will look out for a East Coast swing event and try again.

    Mickey,
I appreciate the easy going yet obviously talented method technique that you have. I agree that dancing should be for the enjoyment of you and your partner and heck on what other people think. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for this. You did a great job with it.
I have a question. Why is the dance pattern based on 6 beats when the music is a 4/4 8-beat pattern? Doesn't that prevent the dance pattern from lining up with chorus/verse/bridge changes in the music, or does no one worry about that?

I'm a very slow learner and I appreciate the repetitive method. Probably a young kid might want it to be faster.

If you want to explain how a person should move their feet. SHOW YOUR FEET! Roll up your cuffs or wear shorts. Wear shoes that show up on camera. CLOSE UPS! Step/touch...c'mon. Don't get too technical. The dance is all feel once the person gets the hang of it. The dance changes to their own technique. Just teach it so they can get up to speed and take over.

While I agree with what you said about the shoes, it would be even more helpful if the background and floor was white or light colored. If they're going to wear black shoes and black pants, there needs to be a contrast with the background in order to be able to clearly see the steps.

I prefer Lead Follow to He-She Guy-Girl. Trading leads in the dance is F-U-N. Plus I don’t give an RA if two guys or two chicks dance together
