Merg here's a tip. If you use kindness with the burnt pan and stained apron, you will heal more when using the special. I recommend you use that until you get enough gold for the worn dagger and the heart locket. Also, the worn dagger and the heart locket have different special attacks depending on your soul, but I suggest you stick with kindness until you get determination and the royal spear and armor.
No point undyne gear is better + he should go for DT

Yo!!! you're back at UFS, and just in time for the new update!
I don't have any usefull tips for gameplay now, so instead, i'm gonna tell you the update's contents!
- New character: Outertale sans was added! he's pretty cool. he's getting new moves with the updates, balancement & stuff! You need some star shards that you get from quests in order to craft him so you unlock him, so that's cool!
and here's his passive ability explaination:
Whenever a chara dies, they turn into a black hole and attract other charas.
also sans can go through the black hole and be invisible for some seconds, then go to the white hole to be visible again, because if they don't, they get some consequences.
- New weapon, armor & Soul combo: The royal spear, Royal armor and the determination soul combo (Spear + armor + dt soul)
It's pretty op and needs some rebalance, but it's got new never-before seen mechanics, like having a 2nd "special ability"
Of course the spear has a regular special ability with F, which lets you summon spears from the floor, each spear costing 10 tp.. BUT! if you hold click, you can actually throw the spear, which is the 2nd ability, and costs nothing!
The armor gives you 20% damage resistance, in exchange of slower movement.
And the soul combo makes you have a sick cutscene when you revive (Determination soul ability) with a battle against a true hero jingle theme and almost a full heal, alongside some quick & big regens for a limited time!
- Some extra balancement, and a previous small update that added a new move for ruins dust sans!
Crossbones got some buffs, pacifist's counter is somewhat better, UT Papyrus' "True special attack!" now only throws blue bones, etc.
and lastly
- A secret has been added to the tutorial, that gives you a free skin for Underswap sans! i'll give you a hint:
Near the end of the tutorial, just before entering toriel's broken house, check nearby, like the walls or smth 👀

Hey Merg, if you get Manly Bandanna, Tough Gloves, and Bravery in the same loadout, your special will release a shockwave that goes pretty far. There are soul combos for every sort of combination. They're listed as follows
Toy Knife, Ribbon, Patience: You can use the special an extra time if it misses/hits, I forgot which one
Cloudy Glasses, Torn Notebook, Perseverance: You can choose what buff you get from the special
Pan + Apron + Kindness: Your special heals more. That's it.
Empty Gun + Justice + Cowboy Hat: You can shoot for 10 less TP, and you get special bullet types
Tough Gloves + Manly Bandanna + Bravery: Already Listed
Integrity + Ballet Shoes + Old Tutu: I'm gonna be honest I completely forgot this one.
Determination + Royal Armor + Royal Spear: Your second life full heals, gives passive regen and gives a damage buff. However, you take greatly increased damage.
Heart Locket + Worn Knife + Any Soul: Your slash changes effects based on what soul you use.

If you collect integrity combo your weapon ability (a giant shoe) will slowly approach sans
Fun fact! Outer sans is technically in early access, but instead of needing to buy it or something you need materials (star shards) to “craft” him. The move where he makes you float up is actually new, and there’s likely to be more added soon.
I recommend getting the cloudy glasses as a piece of armor! It might not be the best, but it lets you see how many dodges are left, which allows you to know how safe it would be to rush in! If you were a chatter, as well, you can let your team know how many dodges! (You are not a chatter, though-)

Hey Merg, there is this thing called called Soul Combos. Which you can activate by equipping a soul, armor and weapon of the same soul. For example for Kindness you need to equip the Kindness Soul, Burnt Pan and the Apron. What each soul combo does is different, kindness soul combo makes it so anyone healed by your pan's ability including yourself get all KR on you cured! I can tell you the other soul combos once you get their respective soul.
Dang there’s people just giving tips while I haven’t played UFS for 3 weeks and am still using the empty gun, the cowboy hat and the kindness soul 😭 But anyways good video Merg!

i really wish someone made a full fangame on outertale like they did with undertale yellow, it's always so much fun to see anything related to it, and there's so much potential to play with!! i love space related things, it's always pretty to look at and interesting to know more, so mixing that with my favorite game would be so freaking cool to see. i reeeeaaaaaally hope to see a full fangame on this au
to be fair there is little potential that au has its just undertale characters in space, no really plot changes worth for a fangame

Also, something I’ve found out is there are actually set bonuses in this game. I chose the Justice soul and got the hat and gun, and instead of a 45 tp cost to shoot, it was only 35.
Also also, Science Sans is bugged for some reason. Sometimes his attacks just.. don’t work. He’s my favorite character to play as, why must you do this to me ;-;

You can get a free skin for underswap if u go back in tutorial and u believe after u defeat the frog there should be a crack in the wall on ur left and a secret passages there should be a hat click it then finish the tutorial then claim the badge at the end i think btw love ur vids❤

the way the new sans seems so stationary up until about the 1:00 mark made me think he actually couldn't move and had to keep everyone away. that would be a cool idea, I think.

The "black hole" named white hole. Sciences got a theory about white holes which will push you instead of pulling. Theory is that it's a portals.

This update pretty much broke the balance the first few days
The spear was broken, especially WITH THE BRAVERY
Science Sans bombs started dealing 20-150(!) DMG WHEN UP CLOSE
Geno route Sans bones can randomly get you from full HP to full 92 Karma hp
Outertale Sans became meta because of this combo (Zero gravity thing, gaster blasters and bones into the slowed down chara player)
HP Characters temporarily became USELESS because of how broken spear was (like holy crap i was a empty revolver player, and witnessed how 3 SPEAR PLAYERS ATE UNDERSWAP PAPYRUS AND MADE HIS HP DROP TO 40~ HP IN A MATTER OF 30 SECONDS)
"balance rn is worse than in ulc" -Random UFS player
Also merg, there's a new secret skin for swap sans this update too, it's really easy to get it! Go back to the tutorial, play normally until you encounter the Ruins home, Just before you go inside, at the left side of the wall, there'll be a secret room that you can go into by rolling, There'll be some sort of yellow orb inside the room, collect it, get out and go inside the hole in the house again.
watching murg play undertale showdown is like watching a boxer who has a 99-1 win to lost ratio play a punch out game

hey merg, here's a lil tip for using the gun! It actually shoots slightly left of where your cursor is, it's hitbox is pretty generous if you aim very slightly right of sans. Also any sans with telekinesis is vry vulnerable to gun while they're using it

Here’s a tip: the full soul combo buffs the weapons special attack. Like the full bravery combo ups the range, and kindness gives more healing, stuff like that.
Side note, they nerfed the bravery dmg, so now it only does like 20 dmg. =(
Outer isn't that difficult once you learn how to fight him. The first few fights always suck tho, lol

Merg you can use teleport and telekinesis during Bad time Sans's F attack, it was just bugged during your first use
Hi Merg more UFS yessir, i have come to tell you that if you dodge and jump it will give you range to jump over bonezone and if you dont go over bonezone it gives you i frames to avoid it
Another thing is you should show us your quests so we can give you tips on how to complete those
one more thing is for the yellow badge but its too much detail you would have to look up a youtube vid to get it, its for a skin for underswap if you care about those things
When it comes too outer sans if it flashes on your screen really and i mean really bright that means meteors are coming
his counter looks like he will dunk on you so if he is in that position avoid it because he will do gravity smash on you and you will take a lot of dmg.
if you want to grind g and or wins you have to play during the weekends because you can get around 700 g per match which is insane for grinding and if you face horror sans it gives you like 1k
by far in your roster pacifist sans is in fact the best sans for you, look up some youtube vids on how to do counter like for example that blue bone/bat thing in your spotlight ability for pacifist makes the chara be ragdolled and then slowed when they get up which makes it so they can get snowballed and bonezoned and if you have your normal bat you can hit them with that too
Btw the best armour is probably the aprion bc it gives you hp when attacking sans and for a weapon it would be gun because of the range also you dont have to point the gun with your camera at sans you have to point your character like where your character is facing so it will shoot

so fair, NEEEVER seen anything with better balanced gameplay.
heres a tip with bad time sans; if you use the triple gaster blasters or just any blasters really and then use the telekinesis you can make the players get stuck in the blast
