Gary, maybe a disclaimer on copyright? Someone's going to follow this tutorial (which is badass, by the way), then get into issues for using a celebrity's likeness.
That is me :( I was going to use Printify or Printful to create a similar design but someone else commented that the company will block it and not allow the design to be printed without proper licensing.

Using any celebrity, yep, due to personality rights (right of publicity). As you are using other person's image to make money. It's even not allowed if you don't make money, indeed, and even if it's just a regular person, non famous. Also, due to copyright and trademarks, you should never use a brand's logo, or something similar to it, or some letters that are shaped in a way that has been trademarked (as part of the brand) by which ever the company or individual. Apart from how it is legally, because most platforms to upload t-shirts to (Amazon Merch, etc) do ban the accounts doing such (not just the product).
You can work though in anything that does not resemble a famous individual (similarity is neither valid), brand or logo . Which is very possible to be done. So, do it in bootleg style (not necessarily using AI, also contracting a designer or designing it yourself)

Wow - I'm shocked that you don't mention Trademark/Copyright infringement. Shirts like this CANNOT be sold unless you have a license from the celebrity/company. It's irrelevant whether it was made by AI - it's still Trademark/Copyright infringement. The majority of POD companies will not print them for fear of big lawsuits. Even if you print them yourself, your store will be eventually be taken down and you could end up being sued. For those who don't know what I'm talking about, Google celebrity IP infringement, Etsy store shut down, removed from Amazon etc.etc. it's not worth the risk.
