With such range of a crew 2 hours of a run time is nearly not enough to bring a character development any justice and in the end you find yourself more entertained cheering for a newborn xenomorph over supposed protagonists.
I see it as a writing/directing failure.

It seems unbelievable that the same director who made Alien a masterpiece, was able to fucked it up so badly with Prometheus and this latest piece of shit.
