    Good video
I have used a shotgun cleaning kit for cleaning the smoke nozzle, also found pre soaking in a bowl of warm water, containing 3 dishwasher tablets overnight helped a great deal.
Re the chip holder, sprayed the inside with oven cleaning foam, again leaving overnight, then scrubbing the next day helped a lot.
Obviously giving it all a thorough rinsing with fresh water afterwards.
Look forward to the hints and tips video.

Thanks for your comment. Yes i think you’re ideas for cleaning are sound. i was looking at the possibility of using oven cleaner as i think it will shift those stubborn bits.

My smoker generator is my own design but much like the on in question. Insulated the thing with ceramic wool intended for turbos and the bridging became less. Can now operate 70+ hours between cleaning.
Cleaning is done with Biltema Grilli and Owen cleaner sprayed on, wait and flushed. Soda blasting works well on the most dirty spots.
I use alder for chips and have never tried birch that is considered non-suitable for any kind of smoking due to bitter taste of smoke.

@ Nice comment, birch is lovely used sparingly and is similar to alder..

Hi from Western Australia! I have the 1L version of this on my hooded bbq, used it 3 times so far & no issues whatsoever. I'm wondering if your chips were damp or not enough air flow? Interesting though, will have to keep an eye on mine. Cheers!

I have one also and to me it's been a total waste of money, have tried all sorts of chips / pellets and still don't get a continuous burn, I'll stick to both my Pro q smokers.

Totally agree. I've been using my Pro q smoke generators for 9 years now and never had a problem. Why change?

Totally agree, I used to call the ProQ cold smoke generator the sidewinder missile of food smoking (Fire and Forget) ;-)
