Yeah, too much tech. I may go back to helmet cam and plug in mic. Simpler and less issues. Lol. Thanks for watching and stay safe out there John 👍

If you know anyone with another Cardo that can ride with you both if Eric sounds garbled to him and the other rider sounds clear to you it would be something with Eric's unit. If they both sound garbled it is your unit. The Rode could be on a close frequency and bleeding over. Also speaker magnets near microphones can act weird too.

Yeah, in a later video, I figure out it is the RODE interfering. Have to make sure that the Cardos are turned on first, and then I can turn on the RODE. That works for the most part. Occasionally, when we ride into a town/city, then I may get some more interference, then I need to reboot the RODE, and I will be fine. But sometimes it happens a lot, so it is a pain to keep rebooting. I am looking into different options. Thanks for watching and stay safe out there 👍

Those Cardos have no external antenna, same as the Sena 20s evo units that had similar issues for me. My Packtalk Bold units will be similar when antenna is down..
I run my audio to my helmet gopro and also to my second gopro via another cardo unit with an atenuator to knock down the highs, then I mesh the 2 together during editing which makes pretty good audio. I also have a Sena setup the same for riding with the sena people......................................JB..

Yeah, I might have to get an attenuator to see if that helps with the high-pitched screeching. Did figure out that the Cardos need to be turned on first before I turn the RODE Wireless Go on, that fixed the regular distortion interference for the most part. Just need to fix the screeching. Lol. Thanks for watching and stay safe out there Jarvis 👍

Does Eric say you are garbled too? try it not on the bikes. Could it be RF interference form the bike or 360 camera? good luck !!

The RODE Wireless Go 2 mic system interferes with the mesh of the Cardo. Never interfered when we used the FREECOM 4 system, but that was Bluetooth. Eric says I am fine. It's only the people that talk to me. Lol. I hate setting up new stuff. You think, oh this is going to be great, then there is always a glitch in the plan. 🤣🤣 More testing and I will figure something out. Thanks for watching and stay safe out there Eric 👍

I have noticed when watching him behind you the further back he gets the worse he sounds if he stays up closer you are correct, he sounds fine. it seems like he hangs back too far. Yes at 11:10 when you said he was perfect he was close to you other times when he sounded garbled he was what looked like a 1/4 mile behind you. Just my observation. I think your system is fine Eric just hangs on the border of being in range. Then I also noticed around 11:35 he was under power lines I also noticed that in a few other areas also where he was talking while crossing under power lines and sound was distorted. then at 14:20 when he was distorted he was way way behind you!! check it out for yourself. Then again at 15 min. mark as he was getting closer to you it cleared up as he was talking. So when riding just tell him to stay with in 250 ft. You should be good. what is the suggested range on them.

Wow, you really got into detail there. Lol. Yeah I not sure on the exact range, but thought it was like 1/4 mile or something like that. Our old system only broke up like at huge distance or when out of line of sight. But the new ones work perfectly fine when my RODE Wireless GO II mic system is off. That interferes with the Cardo as well. They run on same frequency I think. To much tech. Haha. May go back to helmet cam and plug in mic. Lol. Thanks for watching and stay safe out there 👍
