It accelerates exactly the same than a manual. This track is 2/3 gear and this gearchanges are not the faster of the Selespeeds, it changes faster in 3/4, 4/5, 5/6....it was designed smoother on second to the third gear to add a little fiability to the internals of the gearbox....the downshiftings are always perfect, and always be with the two hands on the steering wheel is a plus too. The problem with sequentials gearboxes like double clutch is that manual always will be faster at track, in my oppinion it doesn't happen with Selespeed, at least as faster as manual.
Hi there, I'm thinking about purchasing a 147GTA selespeed. Have you had any issues with this transition compared to a manual GTA? Do you considder the 147 selespeed reliable? Your feedback is much appreciated
Is reliable, but you need to learn some info about changing the selespeed oil (Alfa doesn't say it is necessary but it is very important), and calibrate it with Multiecuscan. The problem with selespeed is the lack of knowledge... It is a better system than 2l Selespeed, more reliable and sportive.
@opskier2 Im not saying tyres dont help but the 146 GTA is on an old if modified Fiat Tipo chassis with a very heavy V6 mounted well ahead of the front axle. It simply doesnt have the chassis balance and feel that can be had in other cars. All 2.0TS versions of the 147/156/GTV handle significantly better. I myself would still have a 147 GTA for the noise and looks alone. Also the steering feel and throttle response.
Came here to see how fast Selespeed changes gear. Doesn't seem to be any faster than you could do with the manual version of the same car?

Hi, where did you bought your paddle shifters ???
Hello, in ebay!! You can search by "aluminium selespeed paddles".
Very impressive and great downshifts from the Selespeed! Did you have the software updated at the Alfa Dealership at some point?
It's the original software....not remapped. The Selespeed from the GTA is better than the 2l.
Spectacular! 😱 Full exhaust with decat or 100/200 cells?
In this video stock manifolds (CF3) with decat main section (Scorpion), Wizard straight middle center and Wizard muffler.
Have you installed a Q2 differantial?
Yes I have!!

Where did you buy the shift light indicator?
Ecliptech (Australia)
Great stuff, forza Alfa!
Como va esa caja, es rápida en los cambios???
No es una caja de cambios actual....es decir...en bajas rpm es lenta, pero yendo a tope cambia rápido.
Great sound, great car but...
Understeer galore on a tight twisty little track.
@@tomwebb7091 this video is without slicks, or semislick tyres.....with them it runs lot better at twisty tracks.

@@tomwebb7091 I had also a 147 1.6 and it's true, more well balanced.
@@opskier2 But you would miss the V6 too much 🥺 ce'st la vie!
After 5 000 rpm,the selespeed is faster?
Yes it is faster, specially with the accelerator fully pressed.
Impressive ! Is your motor prepared or full stock ?
Full stock engine.
Bravo matori
full stock engine, but with exhaust modifications.
Spectacular sound! This car have 4 Catalysts
. With complete exhaust system, you gain +/- 12hp!
@@Carboniotecable now I'm running with decat manifolds, 200 cell sport cat and inox Wizard catback.
