I experienced a weird thing on a 42v psu when trying out resistors. I connected different resistors by holding them with pliers and I was evrntually satisfied to see the voltage drop..... but it kept dropping.. and dropping.. and droooopppiiiiinnng.. slower and slower but now the output is on 0,1 volt and I have not touched anything for minutes. I'm confused. What did I toast? Some capacitor must have given it's last breath.

if you increase the output tension of your switching power supply beware to the condenser value use at least 25% higher if you want it to last
so for 19V use condenser at 25V or more
