They are not master gunsmiths at all and calling them that is an insult to all master gunsmiths. Not one time did I see any measuring tools which are required to make a safe weapon of any kind they didn't have any headspace Guages either and if a gun is not properly headspaced it can blow up and kill the one shooting it. It's not an easy thing to make a gun that is safe to shoot and reliable. Not just any person can do it and do it correctly so the gun doesn't hurt anyone. You have to be taught correctly and use the proper tools.
@@bradslone8511 Yes, you are correct...up to a point. These guns are far cheaper than the originals and for good reason. However, these same gunsmiths have churned out these weapons that have been used successfully against: The British Empire, the Soviet union, The U.S. military and the Pakistan Army. Yes, you get a hiccup every now and then but they DO WORK and are good enough for war fighting, not for IPSC matches! And their headspace gauges are essentially their casings! I have owned several Darra made guns when I lived in Pakistan and I never had one 'blow up" on me. They had less than desirable triggers, bad sights and had some other quality control issues. They also tend to wear faster out if one shot thousands of rounds through them as opposed to Western firearms. But they did work. Ever handled Kel Tec guns in the U.S. LOL! Talk about receivers cracking and blowing up! Or how about Smith &Wesson revolvers being shipped out with canted front sights. Lots of videos on TH-cam about guns blowing up or failing in the U.S. and these are all Western manufactured guns. I don't know if a Westerner in this day and age could carve out a firearm they these guys do with the most rudimentary of tools. And mind you, most of these guys are barely literate. So they may not be employees of Wilson Combat or Les Baer but they are in a league by themselves. Their work is a testimony to the power of human spirit and the artist is us all.

They are not master gunsmiths at all and calling them that is an insult to all master gunsmiths. Not one time did I see any measuring tools which are required to make a safe weapon of any kind they didn't have any headspace Guages either and if a gun is not properly headspaced it can blow up and kill the one shooting it. It's not an easy thing to make a gun that is safe to shoot and reliable. Not just any person can do it and do it correctly so the gun doesn't hurt anyone. You have to be taught correctly and use the proper tools.
@@bradslone8511 Yes, you are correct...up to a point. These guns are far cheaper than the originals and for good reason. However, these same gunsmiths have churned out these weapons that have been used successfully against: The British Empire, the Soviet union, The U.S. military and the Pakistan Army. Yes, you get a hiccup every now and then but they DO WORK and are good enough for war fighting, not for IPSC matches! And their headspace gauges are essentially their casings! I have owned several Darra made guns when I lived in Pakistan and I never had one 'blow up" on me. They had less than desirable triggers, bad sights and had some other quality control issues. They also tend to wear faster out if one shot thousands of rounds through them as opposed to Western firearms. But they did work. Ever handled Kel Tec guns in the U.S. LOL! Talk about receivers cracking and blowing up! Or how about Smith &Wesson revolvers being shipped out with canted front sights. Lots of videos on TH-cam about guns blowing up or failing in the U.S. and these are all Western manufactured guns. I don't know if a Westerner in this day and age could carve out a firearm they these guys do with the most rudimentary of tools. And mind you, most of these guys are barely literate. So they may not be employees of Wilson Combat or Les Baer but they are in a league by themselves. Their work is a testimony to the power of human spirit and the artist is us all.
