Those are some really cool finds! I feel like I want the personal smoothie maker for myself 😂 but that book “the treasure” sounds like I really good book. I think I’m going to go look up the book and find the other book you mentioned as well, “theology”? I’m always looking for some biblically sound books that can help kids understand the Bible and Jesus more. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for watching! Here’s a link to “The Ology”: amzn.to/4fl3AhY. I had eyed it for a long time and I’m so glad I finally bought it for us to read. Hope you love it!
You definitely don’t need to just stick to one gift for each category, I think. For books you could get a book series, for arts and crafts, you could get a pad of paper, some paintbrushes, a palette and some paints as one gift. You could put them all wrapped individually in one big box.
When my oldest was, I think 4, and was asking to add things to her list a day or two before Christmas, we made a new rule the following year. Kids can ask for 3 gifts. They have to tell us before the end of October what those 3 things are. The rest of the gifts are suprises. It has really helped me with setting boundaries for myself. I don't end up with an endless list, and they are able to pick 3 things they really want BEFORE the influence of all the ads pops up... those toy ads that come in the mail... so if they end up wanting something after that, it's expected that they can just 1. Save up for it, 2. Use any money they get from relatives for it 3. If someone else asks them what they want they have an answer, or 4. They can put it on their list for birthdays. It also helps to be able to do this and get the "surprises" that are things I find on sale throughout the year based on their interests. I think the important thing is to figure out what works for your family though. Explaining how big gifts can also be kept for birthday wish lists because on birthdays you aren't buying for EVERYONE, and only for the kid, so there is more of a budget for big gifts, is helpful too.
I'm hoping it works out well! We didn't get too fancy of a camera for my daughter since it's a very new hobby, so I'm hoping she will still be able to learn a few things. Thanks for watching!
This is the one I got! www.walmart.com/ip/14077512389?sid=a3b0e6e6-9ba2-4384-b52c-6b6c84c0e375 Here is a similar one from Amazon: amzn.to/4gc657j Thanks for watching!
@@blessedhomeschoolI would have to buy 3 sets so there's enough cushions for a good fort.. I saw another great idea for forts - that is easier to store m. They sell kits of long sticks and small balls that you stick together to form a framework of a fort... Then you just throw a king sized blanket or sheet over the framework... Instant fort.. they also sell accessories like lantern lights that can hang from the framework, etc.. You could buy a camping style lantern for your son's fort.
Such fun and creative gifts! Well done! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much! 😊

I got a camera for my birthday and want that photography book. It was on my list but it is going to have to be Mother’s Day or something.
