Bought mine used but as new. I run into return socket on a Boss Katana using clean tube amp sim and it sounds awesome. Great piece of kit, only downside is that looper and drums don’t work at same time. Well pleased with my 360

I have that pedalboard, it has a great sound. I like it because its amplifiers are divided into heads and gabinente giving many combinations. It has good distortions. editing from the pedal is a headache, the Nexus program from Digitech facilitates the editing of new patches. I am eager the continuation of the RP 360, really I leave a good taste or mouth in this case, good video.

Effectively. Nexus can edit, save and load your patches, and it is more comfortable to edit my present than on the pedalboard. I forgot to mention that you can save and upload your patches in a file so that the pedalboard reads it. the Nexus program is on the Digitech page in the RP 360 section. There are some pads on the page to load.

    TAP TEMPO:
You have to first put the device in stomp box mode of course.
Press the respective effect footswitch of the effect and keep it pressed for some seconds (2?).
The effect LED will start to blink to tell you you have entered tap tempo mode.
    Release the switch then.
You can now tap the switch twice for the desired tempo.
I tried this and it worked with the delays as far as I can tell.
To exit tap tempo mode you have to press and hold down the effect footswitch again for more than 2 seconds.

I was hoping that you would have used the Nexus software that came with the pedal to edit the patches. With Nexus you can drag and drop pedals change amp heads and swap cabinets like single tweed to a 4-12 Marshal stack or Fender 65 twin with a VOX single 12" the combinations are unlimited.
When using the GUI interface the pedals can be dragged front to back in front of the Amp or slide it behind the amp into the effects loop in .2 seconds NICE!!! I believe the software interface loaded on a PC is the best feature of this pedal. As you update the patch it syncs with the pedal. Anyone who owns a Fender mustang will know what I am taking about when it comes to the Software side and the GUI interface!

This was sort of the last gasp of Digitech, it has the the sounds of the venerable gsp 2101 which was well regarded back in the day.
About the same time I bought this I got a boss gt-1000. It has a lot more high fidelity sound with the clean highs being much superior. In comparison the digitech scarcely has any highs at all.
Can't help but wonder what the digitech would sound like if it had the same processing power. Guess we'll never know...

I'm considering getting an rp360 but my only reservation is the EQ. It's 3 band, and I just don't know how good a 3 band eq is at shaping tone. In my mind, 5 bands should be the bare minimum, and EQ is, IMO, the number one means of shaping tone.
    With that said, two questions:
1, can anyone speak to the effectiveness of a 3 band eq at shaping tone? Is 3 enough or is it kind of limited?
2, I know the rp360 allows for 8 effects at once, so is it possible to use EQ as an effect in 2 of the 8 slots thereby creating a 6 band EQ? Or, in 3 spots for a 9 band?
    Thanks

    • @gearfacts
      @gearfacts  5 ปีที่แล้ว

These are all great questions and I'd also put it out there for other viewers to help me answer them! I agree that three bands is a bit limited. Each drive effect has its own tone control and I found that helpful. As for duplicating the EQ effect, I don't think you can do that and even if you could, it'd be handling the same three bandwidths and I doubt this method would be any help. I think it has a parametric EQ as well as graphic, so that might be better for sound shaping. The last option of course is to add an EQ pedal, but that introduces new problems as well.... Happy to discuss :) Gearfacts

    • @countblue

You can have max 8 effects (and volume control) at work but none of them twice. They are grouped and you can only have one from each group. For example swell and noise gate are in one group hence you can have only either but not both.
Distortions and overdrives are also one group and all modulation effects are one (chorus, flanger, phaser, vibratos, tremolo).
You can also not use the looper and the drum machine at the same time.
In spite of those restrictions I find the unit very useful.
