Ground bay leaf is a key ingredient in Montreal style smoked meat. The ground bay leaf is used in the curing process. Thanks for the video. I use a coffee grinder too but yours seems way more effective than mine!

That's how onion & garlic powder are made using the shells, pimento powder etc. Dry to a crisp and ground.

I air dried them for 3-4 days.
