    Super idea to semi-3D your minis by adding real things to the bases!

      its really suprising how well the hirst arts bits go so well with the 2.5d method they really fill out the hand crafted stuff so well.have you done the candelabra dmg made? it looks awesome tabletop!

    Wow very good job, how do you get the scale right for each one?

    • @Halloweenville
      @Halloweenville  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      It was already scaled, but since the site has been down i use the old ones as a template.

    Nice looking pawns! What did you use for your printers resolution? I have access to a printer with 6000x1200 dpi, but it seems like a waste of ink to use such a high resolution.

    • @Halloweenville
      @Halloweenville  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I Just used the slandered settings not sure what the DPI settings are.

      I guess I'll just need to experiment. Thanks.

    Very cool. What was the idea behind making the dragons' bases so small instead of 'd&d sized', or even rectangular?

    • @Halloweenville
      @Halloweenville  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just took a shot in the dark of what size looked good on the mini without taking up to much space on the tile, I Guess you could say Crafter's Choice....LOL!

      looking Forward for that Video, the bases look awsome and im about to do my first minatures.Is the camera recording so dark or are the minatures really that dark? Ist hard to see the Details.Btw could you share the links of minatures u used or is it easy to find?

    • @Halloweenville
      @Halloweenville  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've got to base up some minis soon so look forward to that soon, the lighting is'n't that great and I found that coloring the boarder black makes the mini dark and lose some details I don't color the boarder anymore which you'll see in the basing video, and the link to the site is in the description my friend.

      Guess i will create some more terrain until u post the video soon :)
      i know the page, i was more hoping to find some of the ones u used in the video. there so many on that site ^^ but i try my luck searching when i get home from work :)

    By the way, one thing I've learned when printing is that images almost always seem to look lighter on a computer screen than they print. They always seem to print much darker than they look. I've learned to always lighten the image somewhat and maybe even increase the contrast. Just an idea and I am totally stealing your basing ideas! ;-)

    how do you battle with minis?

    • @Halloweenville
      @Halloweenville  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Panda you asking how we do it in an encounter?, all we do is move and do an action, Example I move "here" (move mini) & "attack" with My Axe. (Role Attack). I hope that answers your question.
