Is it me or the sound/noice interaction of the train and the track are the same as the MRT Line 3, looks like the concrete plinth style track are responsible for that noise, for me atleast
They say na kaya di magawan ng safety barrier ang LRT1 stations e dahil iba-iba yung configuration ng mga pintuan ng mga trains base sa gen. Di natin alam kung alin yung di swak, pero ang magandang gawin nila eventually jan, if magkakaroon ng gen5 and so on na mga tren, e igaya sa configuration ng current latest na gen4. para pag nagphaseout ng gen2 at gen3, yung mga current at future na mga tren e pare pareho na configuration ng mga pinto, so pwede na ngayon gawan ng safety barrier na swak sa lahat ng gen.
actually dahil lang po sa pagbukas ng pintuan ng Gen 1 po yan. sa 2G, 3G, at 4g, pumapasok yung pintuan sa loob ng tren, yung Gen 1 naman po, sa labas po.
@JetpackBlackSpeakerman. di na naman issue ang gen1 kasi matagal nang phaseout. yung LRMC talaga ang nagsabi dati na iba-iba yung configuration. kasi kung gen1 lang ang problem at oantay pantay naman lahat ng bukasan ng mga pintuan e di walang dahilan para di lagyan ng barrier
Now that the LRMC/LRT-1’s 3rd & 4th GEN Trains are tested and proven to be ready for the CAVITE Extension Line: Guess the remainder of LRT Line 1’s 1st & 2nd GEN Trains should follow suit as well- might as well as the DOTR-MRT Line 3’s 1G/CKD-Tatra- Mitsubishi Heavy Industries & the accursed 2G/ DALIAN China Trainsets, for compatibility runs
1G and 2G were both tested but 1G is decommissioned already and 2G is only used as a skip train. MRT-3 trains require a signalling system upgrade since it is incompatible with LRT's.

Siguro pati 1st gen pwede na dumaan ng Cavite Extension, wag lang palaging hanggang Baclaran lang pag mangagaling Roosevelt (FPJ). Baka naman haha.
