  • Recorded live on one of my favorite places in Europe were concerts are held: Paliesiaus Dvaras, Lithuania.
Big thanks to Viktor Paukstelis and to the wonderful audience.
This was definitely an endurance, being the first piece in the program in the first half, but the Polonaise Op. 44 always pays off.
Thank you to all the staff that makes this place so wonderful.

Like it, it’s always special when you are playing. I have heard the Chopin Sonata 3 at least 40 times after the Chopin Competition. I have never heard something like this before. Thank you so much for being there and playing for us. 😇

I recognize great mastery of the piano. I don’t agree at all with his basic re-writing of my favorite polonaise. How nice of him Chopin to leave behind a masterpiece for this pianist (one of the darlings of the last competition in Warsaw) to deconstruct and pick and choose to use or entirely Chopin’s copious direction regarding tempi, piano, forte, note value, legato, . I actually dislike every heavy handed choice this pianist made. He almost stole so many notes from one phrase before returning to the next it sounded almost syncopated.. very disappointed. He also mis-hit a few notes.
