Its new, fresh, only 2 years old at the most, just like batman himself, his fighting style works best with unrestricted airflow, which is the argument for why he even has an open mask at all, but it helps explain why this one is so wide. Hes going easy on himself, extra padding, so he has to compensate with a wide mask. As he ages he gets better at tanking and avoiding hits, his suit gets less bulky, and he covers a bit more of his face. Im aware all you said was that you prefer a tighter mask but im insane lol. Great review, helped me make a really big decision between this and the upcoming arkham knight batman from kaiyodo
I was also baffled by the legs, such a weird choice. But I have to say, this thing is so much fun to pose, especially with that cape. No regrets about skipping the Figuarts.

the thigh swivel is very very similar to recent revoltech. ik u had an issue with them but u just have to play around with the upper leg and swivel and it’ll look proportional doing wide stance and can actually do a very good lookin high kick trust me 💯💯

Just bought this it's My first mafex And I absolutely LOVE IT !! its sooo Good and so fun to pose I was expecting the lower body to be a bummer but Naah in hands it's not bad at all in my opinion it's a beautiful Figure 🗣💯
wanted this guy but picked up the bush version instead but watched this review anyways and wow 14:10 that figure i own it it is so weird to pose, hush batman will be such an upgrade lmao
Honestly, if i do find/get this guy, i will have the interchangable forarms with the grapple guns extended and the hands for holding them all together so as to avoid putting it all together over and over. In case you're wondering, the hands for holding the grapple guns are the trigger finger hands with the wider grip
That sucks that the legs and feet are crap, how are they supposed to stand properly, huh toy makers?! Atleast this looks pretty cool, I liked the movie, but not enough to buy a figure. Great review.

I agree, my feet broke off because I was trying to get him into a simple ankle rocker pose. I did gorilla glue it back but yeah awful design choices.
