      Start supplementing with vitamin B1 in the form of unfortified nutritional yeast. Any other forms such as supplementing with vitamin pills is inefficient because they are synthetic and fake. Also make sure you are getting plenty enough electrolytes as low electrolytes can cause dizziness. Avoid electrolytes with lots of sugar. Dr. Berg has an excellent electrolyte powder. You can also supplement with potassium citrate and magnesium instead of electrolytes if you want something that you don't have to order and it may help too

    Taking electrolytes and/or getting enough magnesium and potassium citrate will greatly reduce dizziness. Dr. Berg has an excellent electrolyte powder that's all natural and has zero sugar!

    I get the light headed, especially when rising up, but sometimes when it's bad, it even happens when standing & barely moving. Also heart palpitations. Just a few to half a dozen big thumps in my chest. Quite scary. It use to happen a few times a year & now it happens more regularly.

      I’ve been dealing with it for almost 6 years and again my doctor yesterday said it just comes with age when I tried to explain it was a symptom adrenal fatigue to her. Praying it goes away in time with healing AF.

      @@Blessednesting Thanks to the Covid situation, I was forced to return home to live with my parents & I rested for 1.5 years, plus really ate well etc & (not worked 70hr per week. Didn't work at all). Now I'm a lot better. I also found out I was anaemic & have addressed that too.

    I am 14 and I feel so dizzy and uneasy especially standing up and walking around. I have also had trouble breathing 2 days ago but I don't know if that's linked. I don't know why this is happening 😕

    • @drlam
      @drlam  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's not normal for someone young like you, so I suggest you go get it checked out by your doctor.

    This might sound crazy, but I have the opposite happening to me. I feel as if I have cotton in my forehead, and due to this, I feel like I can not think straight at times. I first noticed it when I would be drinking. I never seemed to get the light headed dizzy feeling of being drunk. I have drank responsibly for my entire adult life and never had trouble feeling the buzz from alcohol, as I do now. It is like maybe my body isn't producing any norepinephrine. It all started when I tried to quit smoking by weaning myself off of nicotine. I think the stress of my job at the time, accompanied by the stress of quitting sent my adrenals into overtime. After reading your assessment on the benefits of nicotine, I believe it to be due to the stimulant effect of the nicotine as I smoked less. I am now nicotine free for over 4 months and the feelings of the cotton in my head have never left. I even stopped drinking alcohol because I didn't want to harm myself by drinking until i felt "something".

    • @GameChanger597
      @GameChanger597 ปีที่แล้ว

      A deficiency in vitamin B1 can cause mental fog. Take vitamin D 10 me in the form of non fortified nutritional yeast. Any other supplemental vitamins are fake and synthetic so avoid them.

    Sounds like my condition exactly. I did DR. Visit, to ER for many test, head scan , found nothing. Dizzy when I lie down or get up , a little all the time. Pulse & BP are steady. 25 days now. How do I treat?
    Edit:
    I am wondering if we aren’t missing something here! Could it be CArbon Monoxide leak from defective furnace or wood fire stove? I wonder if a brain parasite could cause this disorientation? my ER visit checked for neither (was not in my copy of ER report anyway). How do we know?

    • @GameChanger597
      @GameChanger597 ปีที่แล้ว

      You could test for carbon monoxide and also asked for a parasitical test as well. Also, being deficient in vitamin B1 can causing dizziness 2. The best form of natural vitamin B1 is non fortified nutritional yeast. Don't take a B-1 supplement because it is all synthetic. Non fortified nutritional yeast is a food that is not synthetic with naturally occurring vitamin B1.

    I get the feeling my doctors have not really done their homework on adrenal fatigue other than just one blood test which is not enough for constant changes in a day. i had one test done and adrenaline was very high. doctor said it was not done properly then the second time it was normal. this was done for pituitary, but I am still in the darkness about my recurrent loss of balance and other symptoms

      You need to see a doctor that specializes in adrenal fatigue or see a functional medicine doctor that knows about it. Always ask the doctor first if they are familiar and have healed people of adrenal fatigue before picking your doctor

    Thank you, Dr lam, what is enjoyable is your knowledge and objectivity, not the video, haha. I've had the adrenal fatigue dizziness for some years now, insomnia and stress, illness for 22 years, not getting the right help because of Aspergers with trauma. Interesting that the symptom should come in later stage, because it was not in the first 15 years, only fatigue and easily heart pounding (but that may be from kyphosis-spine, IDK.I am stuck like in a deep hole I can't get into normal day-rhythm, although I know this is needed. Because exhaustion makes slow, and there are many problems to solve(which I can't but need help), and I diligently work ,but inefficiently because dizzy, foggy, depressed and tired all day, Wake up for a fe whours at 5, and the resist going to bed at normal time, because I feel whipped to solve my problems. Loneliness sor isolation makes it worse, or that meaningless feeling is the real cause:understimulation and life losing its meaning without social life and teh energy for it, as well as without work.
    Dr Lam, are you Chinese? How come the Chinese TCM Drs don't say what they find and do not treat the whole person, soul and mind as well, although the problem clearly stems from it and TCM knows the connection psyche and soma?
    Grateful inf you can reply. Thank you. You ar probably too busy.

      This is caused by the autonomic nervous system being out of whack. One of the best ways to help this issue is cutting down on sugar and carbs. You can also take vitamin B1 in the form of non fortified nutritional yeast. Don't take B1 in vitamin pill form because it is almost always is synthetic and fake. Vitamin B1 helps greatly with dizziness from standing up quickly

      I'm so sorry this happened to you a severe deficiency in vitamin B1 and electrolytes can cause dizziness. It doesn't hurt to try taking a high-quality electrolyte. Gatorade would be considered low quality. Dr. Berg has a high-quality electrolyte powder that I use and find extremely helpful. If you want to try vitamin B1, take it in the form of non fortified nutritional yeast. Taking vitamin B12 supplement pills is not recommended because they are synthetic and fake and your body will not get what it needs Taking fake vitamins. I hope you feel better soon!
