Idk, Dragon is a pretty significant card for red. Red now has a universal mid-late game rush card to keep their aggression going. Ace was the only one initially but he’s wbeard pirates locked
Dragon is an amazing card no doubt, but we’re only going over new OP07 cards making a big difference in the OP07 meta. Dragon is great, but even if you looked at the top 10 decks next set Dragon wouldn’t even be in one of those decklists.
So going against basil hawkins... if you attack with your character first. Even if you have a single 2k body... you're then able to remove hawkins. Hawkins needs an active character for ability to function. Edit: I'm talking about events that remove. If you play an on ko character, hawkins will live.
Was going to comment the same - Kid & Killer is definitely a key card in the deck, being able to cheat out a 7k swing really helps the deck win a lot of games where they’d be out of gas otherwise.
Kid&Killer is definitely a meta breaking card, but it didn’t come out in OP07 which is why it wasn’t in this video. It came out in EB01. We’re only covering the new OP07 cards coming out soon.
I get that red are not getting a lot of power cards but Kid&Killer flew over these guy's heads. A 4c Rush that can swing 7k is meta defining too. Sure EB01 is a half set but Kid&Killer has become staple for over 90% of red leaders even RP Law uses it.

That's why people are talking about red cards that are meta defining from previous sets. You speak as if all red cards released from the previous 4 sets are trash. Man up and admit the channel made an incorrect statement instead of trying to defend a video about the upcoming set, we all know that. As for this set, as other commenters stated, you didn't even speak about Dragon thats a big body rush or the potential of Ain. Your channel's bias against red is called out and you buck up instead of manning up smh. I subscribed to this?
@@CatDaddy2four I guess meta defining for them is the card needs to be $20+ a pop even though Kid&Killer or Shuraiya are heavily used in Red decks. The fact that not a lot of people run Red Leaders except for RP Law doesnt mean that they dont have meta defining cards. Smh to the guys that made this video. When you see a Shuraiya on board, it makes you not immediately swing too wide with your leader or try to get rid of it immediately. It also allows you to swing with it against Leads that have high atk like Newgate, RP Luffy, and bossted BY Luffy but yeah, it isnt meta defining for these guys and so for the "4th set in a r0oo0oOw", red has not produced any meta defining caaAaArds".
@@TheRyutora Wow man let’s slow down 😂 why all the animosity? We were specifically referring to our last 3 “meta breakers” videos that we made for the last 3 sets since OP04. None of them cover red cards as there weren’t any red cards that were appearing in the meta at that time. You can go back and check if you want. Sure, cards like Shuraiya showed to be a meta contender a bit later but at the time of release it saw almost no play at all, which is why it was not included in our video. As for Dragon, he’s a great card! Unfortunately though he does not see any play in even the top 10 decks next meta so we wouldn’t exactly call him a “meta breaker” 😭. Nothing to type two angry paragraphs over! Sorry for the confusion 👍

Need more red! I like how they make a rev army leader with like little to no support. While there are op05 rev army cards and some from st13. It’s still not enough.
There's a little more to it, you have to have no cards that be rested by Hawkins by having the 3c Brook use its effect on swing. This way all your cards are rested and Hawkins can't protect itself
Hawkins effect needs to rest an opponent’s character to activate. If the only character that you have is Brook and you swing with him, use his effect to KO Hawkins, then Hawkins won’t have any target to rest, so he will be KO’d
That’s because blue Doffy uses it better… you wouldn’t say OP03 lucci is slept on because of all the new support he’s getting since a better CP engine user (OP07 lucci) exists.

Great video, tbh for red I think Law wouldn’t be S tier without Kid & Killer but in general i agree they haven’t gotten too many cards for a while

Feels a little harsh not to include dragon for red, he does make a difference.
