    I looked at this move at first and thought 'There's no way I could do that', but as I followed the video (I can do the circular 180 easily) you made it look as though it might be possible. Which means you've broken it down really well and explained it all very clearly! Thank you for posting 👍 Subbed.

    Thank you for this! I appreciate you detailing the progression starting with the two-footed turn and gradually putting less pressure on the trailing foot. Also, great to see the older footage to demonstrate some things we might run into as we practice. Looking forward to practicing this!

    Thanks for this! Can you please do the same vid but for transition from backwards to forwards? There are so many videos/tutorials for forwards-to-backwards, but not the other way around. I can transition from backwards-to-fwd, but every to forward from backwards I always have to stop to turn around. Thanks!! ----EDIT: Never mind - I guess that would be the Gazelle. Still working on that one! ;)

      It's a good thing, I started skating week ago, havn't for 16 years. I feel a lot more frustated when I work the "wrong" side. But when doing this you are making connections in your brain plus its kinda good sign that you're stuborn if yo ukeep trying !

    when Iam in one foot trying to turn, my whole body just like a rock don't want to turn at all, then I have to low down the free leg, my level is comfortably doing one foot forward /backward, can do gazzel easily, but the single foot 3 turn is so difffecult!

    Nice video 🙌🏻 im started to practice wizard skating but i have the K2 R100 frame, what rockering you recommend me to skate like this? im started to skate with flat setup

    • @TooManyWheels
      @TooManyWheels  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think a great rocker is to go 1-2-3-2, from front wheel to back wheel. 3 being closer to the ground, and 1 the most lifted position.
      this way, you can always have 2 wheels on the ground like on wizard frames, with a slight forward lean.

    Can you practice wizard skating on any kind of inline skates or do you need ones with a wizard frame on? I’ve got the powerslide phuzion xenon 90mm and would like to know if it is possible to practice on those. Thank you for the great tutorial!

    Do you recommend a rockered frame for this? Or does normal flat work fine?

    • @TooManyWheels
      @TooManyWheels  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yes a rockered frame make the move way easier. However, you can achieve a rocker on a regular frame by keeping the wheels in the same position. The front and back wheels will wear off faster than the ones on the middle.

    First of all I can say that I can EASILY to all of these movement in hockey ice skates. I can spin on either leg in both directions for about 20 rotations. BUT I have 125 mm wheels on my inlines and I DO NOT HAVE A ROCKER SYSTEM. My frames are 11.5 inches long. Let me tell you : it is impossible to do the move you do in my skates as the force you need to rotate the skates easily exceeds the strength of the tendons in your ankle and knees. I think that you should make it clear in this video that you use a kind of cheating system (the rocker) to make these moves otherwise people with normal skates might attempt these moves and get injured.

    • @TooManyWheels
      @TooManyWheels  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, I mentioned it in the "Gazelle tutorial" video that a rocker makes it easier. However, "wizard skating" is a kind of skating based specifically around Wizard frames, which is a rockered frame, hence why I do not specify it in each video, but I should.
      Lastly, I have done this move on 3x110 and 4x80 unrockered. It is a bit harder but once you have it you can do it as easily (for 1 turn, multiple turns in a row I haven't tried) . You can check "Minh le hemmer" on youtube to see him do those moves on 3x125 too.
      Have a good skating, and thanks for the feedback
