It’s interesting that she has the same “teen” body as all the other RH dolls even though she’s technically the first adult character in the line to be made into a doll.
Why does MGA keep racking up the price for RH special collector dolls? I’m not a fan of Paris Hilton anyway. The doll is pretty but I have no problem passing on this one. I mostly wanted to see you guys do a review for a new RH doll to be honest.
Because the quality keeps going up? I mean you may not see it, but the materials and such are definitely more rich for these recent collectors.

She is absolutely STUNNING. I feel like collectors have been waiting for a while since she was first announced, but she didn't disappoint. Like I always feel like I'm saying, I hope she'll be available in the UK, because the price point is high enough without UK sellers adding their own premium! 😭
Also, you're totally right about the discussion of celebrities being idolised being nuanced. I feel like Britney Spears said it best though: "You know what? Like, I'm not here to babysit her kids."

Idk how I feel about this doll. Paris is a bit before my time so I have no care for her. The doll itself is pretty but it just looks like a Barbie doll but in Rainbow High form. The price is definitely tooooo high!

I think the doll is gorgeous, I'd get her, but the price is too much. I've never been a fan, but I was pleasantly surprised to see this side of her.
She's priced for multiple people's pockets - MGA gets their money and Paris surely gets proceeds from this doll, so that contributes to a higher price. Also, since the price is high, it is a great prohibitor of it being played with by children, which quietens the 'morality' debate. I've seen some negative online comments about things Paris has said in the past that are definitely unkind, as well as her political leanings, but I feel like that's her business. Since I don't think she looks anything like Paris herself, to me she's just a fabulous doll with fabulous accessories and I got her because of that. I adored her in the early 2000s and never stopped liking her, so I don't have anything against her. Some people do. To each doll their own, right?

The price is a tough pill to swallow, but she’s really gorgeous in person! I am very curious whether or not we’ll see the Pacific Coast students much past season 3. Though it seems there’s a love story going between one of them and a RH student, so we’ll see! RH teacher dolls would be cool too! -Max
