How to Make 3-D Easter Basket Cookies

- It’s already Easter in the Recipes for a Sweet Life kitchen! This week, I return to cookies with an all-cookie and icing Easter basket dressed with SugarVeil’s new needlepoint lace and a tiny fondant “Happy Easter” plaque. In this video, I’ve filled my baskets with candy eggs and sanding sugar, but you could also fill them with an iced cupcake and/or my marshmallow bunnies, which will debut on TH-cam next week!

Julie, I think that your cookies are the most artistic ones in the whole youtube. I have never seen such great art made out of food.
I tried baking these half round cookies for the basket but for some reason in middle of baking the dough just slides off the ring and breaks. It looks like its just too heavy especially in middle of baking when its so hot

you do beautiful videos and thank you for that.. I noticed the top of your flour container has a little rust on it.. if you take that can and empty it and in the sink upsidedown.. put plug in drain and pour a large bottle of coke into sink and leave over night it will eat away at the rust...xx

Your creativity is amazing! In the video, you advised that sugar veil was used to fill in the grid. Can you use royal icing instead? Also, on your Easter Egg Cookie Box; what size are the cutters?
