@@m.vonhollen6673 I am a huge fan of these brown bottom 5881’s for vintage American cleans. RCA 6L6’s for me are a higher powered amp dream, like a dumble circuit
I don't know; but whatever amp you are opening with, just has an incredible top end sound that I don't hear from any other amp. I started this stuff back in 1961, when all the tubes were American made and sounded fab and we all took em for granted. These days, I like the new Tung-Sol stuff. And yeh, there's a lot of magic in those often electrified OT's that have been toned out over the years.
I have 6l6 rca black plate from 60 s and they do have a beautiful sound. A little woody old sound . I had the best tung sol top of the line in b4. And they were great
@@mightymite57 not using the amp speaker. It’s blown and been blown. See the black extension coming out the back? Going into the blond bassman cabinet. You using your ears or eyes for this comment?
RCA 6L6 and GE 6L6’s!
The JJ6v6’s sound good but quite different from the old 6v6’s. They’ll take Deluxe Reverb’s plate voltages.

@@godbyone sounds amazing
I wished you had played a chord very slowly for a second string at a time .
@@godbyone maybe next time
Please don't. Just don't. Those riffs you played were good.
The amp speaker is not facing the microphone... It's hard for us to hear it properly !!!🤮
