Thanks Daniel and Ed for first class video as always! I bought my first Roland synth in 1983. It was a Roland SH101 and it had a 99 note sequencer. Now we are in 2024 and both the Juno D and Fantom O models only have 64 notes. Come on Roland this is not progress. Had the Juno had a much larger sequencer memory then I would have bought it.
@@domlisboa4024 FA-06, not Fantom-06, FA's limit is in the thousands and it has a traditional linear sequencer. Fantom-06's sequencer launches clips that you should be able to set betweem 1-128 steps each per clip like MC-707, and dozens of clips per song.
I've been wanting one of these since the Juno DS first came out. I finally ordered it today for my birthday. The 20th of Jan. It should be here on the 17th. I can't wait. 😎👍
Sounds like you want Fantom-06. But why replace? It's basically more of the same. May as well stick to your FA, unless you do a lot of deep sound design as well and want the looping sequencer, too.
Great demo. About to order one! I wonder if there is already a Librarian for this version? I like to make my scene/performance configurations (naming is the main thing) on my computer. Thanks!
I Like watching you guys talk. I Like how hes staring at you it makes me feel better. I dont know I just wanted to see him gnaw on your arm. Lol and you smack him in his forehead. The audio circuitry makes a subtle difference. Newer stuff is slightly better. What's more obvious in a side by side comparison is that MFX algorithms sound better. Same 30-year-old samples. You can thicken the sound with chorus, reverb, and increasing ADSR envelope release as desired, same as any past or present workstation of any kind.
@@INeedsMoneys These keyboards are never designed to send audio to USB soundcards and interfaces via USB. The USB audio output function specifically needs MacOS or Windows.
How does rhe Fantom 06/7/8 compare to this. Should i sell the used Roland Fantom 06 I just bought and buy this. Does the Fantom 06 have the same amount of sounds/3800???
This is a cut down alternative to the Fantom-0 line. Also, the EXZ expansions that are free to download for Fantom-0 users cost $20 per expansion for Juno-D users, if that matters.

So many questions.. NO answers.. no helpful tutorials for the sequencer.. the manual Fn useless.. no answers anywhere. First off, I really dig Ed. Secondly, this board is awesome!
ed diaz🔥
awesome presentation and very helpful, thanks, I have one still in the box waiting for me to get stuck into it!
Oh, to be you. 😀 We await your review.
Excellent overview. Please bring Ed back for a follow-up focussed on JUNO-D's operations with Roland Cloud.
I need this for my studio set up with my Mpc one plus get this board next month pick
You the man Ed

This board has been an excellent addition to my rig
Hi Ed Diaz and Daniel
Roland is keeping hardware synthesis healthy and well.
Ed Diaz on the keys, so you already know you're gonna buy the keyboard haha.
Awesome review, guys. 👍
Roger truthman zap style ❤ from Dj John Sweden.
At 17:15 he pulled out his home town anthem to whoop your ass.
Can't wait for Roland to release the Juno-G...
FA-06 is its successor. And now there is the Zen-Core version, Fantom-06.
Can't wait release Juno Di and Juno D
Awesome review! Thanks!! Daniel mentioned a wireless system he uses for his keyboard on stage... what is that? Thanks.
What product is the "Keyboard Wireless Audio" that Daniel Fisher speaks of using at 14:22 in the video?
We need a video for the new sweetwater exclusive Martin X series guitars.
If the pads could play samples I'd get it to replace my FA06,impressive synth, great to see Ed demoing again

Il sequencer ha il quantize in real time recording?
256 polyphony 😂😂😂😂. Just like the Fantom. In real terms that means 8 voices of a model synth with a 24dB filter

Does anyone know if it has a mellotron?
it has one or two mellotron presets or so
How about the D/A convertors? Earlier digital Junos sounded very thin.

Hi sir ed diaz you forget how to save favorite or banks of your favorite split or tone
this would be helpful. No example in manual
@ my idea is, I think its they same the setting up of juno-ds on how to save banks or favorites (but im not sure of juno-d) Im guessing
can i play oriental sound on it ?
thank you

4:23 time lag before split menu appears, this one second is critical in music, Roland👎
Sampling memory??
None, they might add sampling later. It would be weird if they didn't.
