Have you ever used a subscription-based product? I felt the same until AVID went subscription with Pro Tools. I spend less money and enjoy every last thing I ever wanted from Pro Tools. They encourage changing subscription levels to suit current work, a capability that perfectly suits my work lifestyle. For me, Waves brought licensing to the party some 20+ years ago, with bundling and update plans that save enormous money. AVID’s licensing was practically punitive in the beginning. I simply could not keep up financially. When they went subscription, it was like a birthday present. Flexible and economical for me, it also set up a system from which the manufacturer could count on steady income. It changed everything for the better for everyone.

This controller is just going to make things worse. Where as when someone had too learn how to play their music taste would mature. This means that anyone can pump out even more rubbish.

All considered, $8k is a good price. The quality is impeccable and the very well chosen features would make this a valid product for many, many years. Compiling the various hardware would cost more and would also result in a clunky mess as compared to this perfectly dimensioned product. I’m reminded more of the new SSL Live and Digico 338 desks than anything sold in the recording desk market. I do a combination of location recording and live sound mixing. At $8k, this would be a no-brainer.

I used the x1oo as a preamp and sound shaper for acoustic guitar I had 5 or 6 x100s the were so fragile I always loved the sound. Any way I was telling my buddy. Up in Oregon Mike how l wish I could find a good one and if he runs across one pick it up for me. Imagine my surprise when I get a email from Sweetwater telling me that there shipping me one. Generally walnut drums are dry & dark, especially with die cast hoops on them. Then TAMA blends in Birch, a much brighter sounding wood. So does it work? Well I really can't say based on this video. I'd have to hit them to decide.

Too bad PS500 has GHS keybed, if they upgrade then it will be worth purchasing.

People should note that using digital audio editing software you can make any guitar sound amazing in order to enhance sales!😂 I do not trust any of these anymore without playing something first hand myself! And NO there's no comparison to these two guitars! The standard is nothing more than a beginner student guitar with alot of lipstick! Which there isn't anything wrong with that but these vids should just be honest!

When I updated my MPC Live 2 from beta to the official MPC 3 release, I found out that the stem separation was included. I never bought that feature. But im happy to have to on my Live 2. 😊
