I never ever used the corner clip (before patch) and flip (after) during my grinding in ToBK, I always preferred to do the stickout and I never failed it once
@@DamN555 not really, I just treated it as a normal stickout (except I need to hug closer to the wall since the platform is so small) maybe a few alignments but I’d usually just go for it.
While grinding, I always had issues with this stickout. You know that on other side there is a roof, right? For some reason, I was always hitting the smallest hitbox of my head on it, causing me to fall. Then, I've just made my own strat with slight curve by aligning on edge of stud texture, and was consistently doing it
@@DamN555 oh wow, that must’ve sucked failing the stickout so many times just because of that one pixel of your head hitting it. And on the contrary, I don’t think it ever happened to me before. Glad you managed to find your own strategy for it though.
It's all good, I've only failed it 1-2 times before trying to strat it actually. The actual trouble was this idiotic headhitter on start of the same floor. Once I was getting consistent with 1 strat, it would stop working and I needed another one. Just like that, in total I used about 5 different strats on it. Still have beaten tower in the end, so again, it's all good, but 9 is literally worse than fs
For me the most interesting thing about that, is how little amount of people other than me have actually noticed that change and maybe used flip on their runs
Same! I was first doing thz stickout since in practice the flip wasn't patched and I thought it was a skip. And then after failing it 4 times I discovered you can just flip
@77Elite It might feel more intentional, but even in Ava's(ToBK's Creator) showcase video, they've done corner clip on that part, so I do believe that rather than being intentional, stickout is just and alternative route for that part
Not really, the QoL for Ring 9(which included flip's addition) was released on 11th September. But if you meant that it was flippable ever since cc patch, it wasn't actually, only after the QoL truss became flippable
Don't know about you, but for me it was rng, so that's why I called it so. Shortly after loopfailing it though, I developed my own strat and it became much easier afterwards
Did you knew about this change or not?
OMG I WISH I KNEW THIS THAT STICKOUY WAS THE MOS T INCONSISTENT THING IN THE WHOLE TOWER
yes
when i was grinding this tower i did that stickout every time because i didnt know it was ever a corner clip
i actually did, while i was grinding it i saw someone corner flip it and i was shocked cause i thought it was just a wrap
Was you shocked the exact same was @TheDeathEagle was tho? I swear, his reaction to that on ToBK grinding stream was so funny
oh hello didn't expect to see you here lol
@@Todd-bv7mq oh hi todd
idk about this cause not entering ring 9 a while
btw i like ur content, take my sub

Can understand. While grinding, have you used any strats for that stickout or just went for it each time?

yesterday i was in game with fren and he said he nerfed the 10th floor of ToAM
It's not like I'll grind ToAM anytime soon, but do you know what was nerfed exactly? Just wondering
@@DamN555 idk he just said it in chat
the stickout wasnt rng though
All of that for a simple corner flip
bro i did not knew about that! rly interesting...
For me the most interesting thing about that, is how little amount of people other than me have actually noticed that change and maybe used flip on their runs
Wait... So you're telling me... I beat the tower while doing the wrap... For no reason??
That depends on whether you beat it before or after flip was added(it was added on 11th September of last year)
@@DamN555unrionically released on 9/11
i grinded the tower in december 2021 and beat it and i never tried beating it again so no i did not
why are jtoh vids nowadays are usually not possitive?
What's so negative did you find in this video? Or if in general, I don't really notice that like at all, so can't really give you an answer
wdym, this video is literally about a positive change
I beat tobk while not corner flipping btw the wrap is not rng at all never failed it
Anyone knows about ToT change
Are you talking about sort-of revamp it received more than a year ago or something?
@@DamN555 yes
Scary 😥

the stickout is not hard I do it everytime
I don't play anything in ring 9 so no
I figured this out when I was using chat right next to the truss. When I typed F I was surprised to find out I had just corner flipped it.
That must've jumpscared you, didn't it?
Revolutionary change
Technically, it's actually somewhat is, like it makes the most rng ToBK's jump(imo) much more bearable to do
@@DamN555 there's prob a lot more, like the ball jump but it gets consistent when you know the strat
finally no more rng stickout
I have not notcied that.
bro that stickout is not rng just get a strat

Yes
Shotcut
Yea???
Nope I didn’t know
