Love the series. If you can..... PLEAAAASE. When you discuss studios, ask about the furniture and chairs. This is a VERY important part that often gets overlooked. Thank u and keep up this fantastic series..
Amen brother. Music is a wonderful gift but it cannot compare to the majesty of the one who created it in the first place...and the rest of the world for that matter.
No clue about the surround side, surround rear, Atmos Voice-of-God monitors and their placement. There semms to be a horizontally oriented KH 420 for the front-center channel. Too bad it fires straight at the backside of the LCD monitors on the desk. But 2.1 stereo would still seem to work here fine.
He means the sunny smoggy hills of Hollywood. LA is sick dirty. That's why in movies they never show more that a couple seconds of the skyline. Yeah I would have to be making big money to live there.
Joakim YesMan he's showing data transfer rates for his SSD raid setup. He's explaining how beneficial it is to have solid state hard drives as the speed is almost 10 times as fast as a standard hard drive.
+wavedrum7 Bespoke strings. This is the range of libraries Spitfire produced that (to my knowledge) has never been commercially available, which made its rounds among high profile composers.
Hey bro, Love your room!!! What did you use to hang your clouds? I LOVE how close to the ceiling they are. Usually most clouds hang like 7-10 inches from the ceiling, causing you to lose headroom.
this is not the first time in Creative Cribs series I see the center speaker completely covered by a screen (in this case positioned too low), seems not needed for composer's work, do they put it higher or the center screen gets lower when mixing in 5.1? :)
I am looking at a nice 2.1 room here. Not sure what the use is for the center channel monitor, as it fires straight at the backsides of the LCD monitors placed on the desk. Ouch.
Composers are a different breed, I wonder what’s it’s like in their head with all that music going on. I’m glad I’m not in their place honestly, I would loose my head over the opportunities of the music world
Had to check out the legend the made the score for Avatar 2. Absolutely brilliant mate
Spitfire.... you guys are the best. Your community outreach is the best in the business.

+Dale North Yes!
This guy's outlook makes an enormous difference.
A legend - his early years was programming on the Synclavier. I wonder what he thinks of Arturia's V collection softsynth
Very interesting beautiful studio and seems a real nice guy!
The songcord is all thanks to this guy!
Brilliant, had the pleasure of meeting Simon after a church service at Xmas, top bloke!

They should do just like anyone else. I write music but I keep it in perspective. God comes 1st.

what is he showing at 3:35??

@@granthoover9045 Love how outdated this is already, now a single nvme drive blows old raided SATA SSDs out of the water in terms if transfer speeds.
What Spitfire strings library was his favorite in the beginning?
