I remember watching this when it happened live. It was jaw-dropping. This is the best bump day that I can recall, at least in terms of sheer drama.
I don't understand people who dismiss bump day. The only thing more exciting than a good bump day is the race itself.

Tracy was in and then pulled out. He could have made The 500

      Same for Howard’s team 😂

@@LessGo7921was Howard actually in though? I’ve always been confused by that. Saavedra’s average was 223.634, and when Howard got bumped by Sato, his next run was 223.610. If that were the case, Howard had to have still been out because his average was slower than Saavedra’s right? Or was there something else factored in that I’m not catching?

@@naswii4360 he was. But his last run was slower than Seb Saavedra’s so Seb got back in after

@@naswii4360 Before Howard had actually set an average of 223.824, which was quicker than Saavedra's, but at that time, Tracy had an average of 223.892, which was the bubble speed. Howard's team withdrew his time because he was bumped at the time, and he went slower with a 223.610. With whatever happened afterward, it turned out Howard's original time would have actually been enough to make the 500.
