I've finally started performing better in higher keys damage-wise, thanks to spending one or two days optimizing gear and looking at better players. I have also farmed some gold to recraft both ring and wrists to 486. After looking at higher-ranked moonkins (top 10 world), I found out that I was a bit high on haste and a bit low on mastery, which made me change some pieces. It's very enjoyable to not be third on every pull. Talent-wise, I decided to pick up Goldrinn instead of Denizen and Friend of the Fae; the reason is tyrannical and Atal'Dazar not having super large pulls. In the end, Goldrinn didn't do much damage, but I still managed to do almost 100k more DPS overall since last week with Fae's build and fortified. We also had an Augmentation Evoker, so the numbers are perhaps a bit buffed. Hope you enjoy! P.S. Mage trolled on the last boss.

As a relatively new Boomie the past weeks it would be very interesting to see a sort of overview of the types of talents you choose for specific dungeons and tyran/fort weeks! Might be a cool video/educational for many

great performace. What was your biggest mistake you were making dps wise before you analysed yourself. I see myself making too much ADHD movements which takes a lot of overall from me :D
@lyusinator Thanks! Yeah, movement is very important as a ranged player. I'm not sure, but preparation and cooldown management weren't my strong sides. I usually think about the route and the time between bosses and pulls, just so I know what cooldowns I have available. You can see me holding Incarnation + trinket on the raptors after Rezan because I know that is a bigger and harder pack right after :)

Nice. Subscribed! Returning player after shadowlands here. I saw some other guides first that recommend the 3 dots + mushroom… but it is just so much stuff to keep track of. I get overwhelmed… This spec you use here seems much better . More like how it used to be. I still don’t understand completely when it’s a good time to cast the different moons tho.?
Thanks! Yeah, I've seen that setup, and I don't really like it. Doing mechanics well and having a somewhat correct rotation is better, in my opinion xd
You should use Full Moon only when you have Incarnation up, often triggered by Pulsar stacks. Ideally, the same for Half Moon, but it's less important. You can cast New Moon whenever :)
Are you using any pre-buff macros before the key gets put in? Or what is it you are pressing exactly?
Hey! I just use incarnation + mirror, and maybe damage pot if we are pulling straight away :)
Hey, Bev!! I see you switched up your weapons, if i'm not mistaken you we're using fyrakk's mace right? is there any particular reason? Anyways, hank you for the video!! Also, it's so nice being able to see your rotation it helped me a lot on improving my gameplay, forgot to thank you for that too haha
@giovanioliveira9480 Hey! You remember correctly! I got the dagger from the vault. My Fyrakk weapon was only 476 fully upgraded, and it also killed me a couple of times, which sucks. Even though my new weapon has "wrong" stats, it still performs better on sims after I changed some pieces, like legs, ring, and boots.
No problem! I find it useful myself when I look back at the videos xd
@@MythicBev Oh i see, i did a quick sim and i should be able to deal a lot more dps, i think now i have to manage my resources better, know when to burst and these kind of things, i'm currently doing +20 keys and averaging 190k dps overall which i don't think are great numbers, i want to try doing higher keys to see if my damage improves but i'm just not confident enough lol, but anyways thank you for helping me!

@mooodygraphy Hey!! You type /omnicd in the chat to open the addon. On the left side you will find a tab called Profile Sharing, click on that and you will find a big red button that says "import" :)

I don't quite understand how you're hitting up to 1m dps, my druid doesn't even get close to that.
@Julmaa87 you will get there! A lot has to do with the fact that the mobs are living longer, in my opinion :)
@@MythicBev Even on fortified weeks, the highest I've hit is around 700k, I'll have to use your spec and try again.
@Julmaa87 Yeah, okay, you can try and hit some Starfires on the pack before you cast Full Moon and hope you crit to apply Astral Smolder debuff on the targets for an extra 10% damage due to the Waning Twilight talent. If you do use those talents :)

is it really better to sacrifice faerie dragons and their 10% dmg buff for the 2 last talent rows on the right ? i always change between radiant moonlight or chosen of elune but maybe taking the 2 is better idk
@Paul-px1ww I'm not sure. I feel like Elune enables more Pulsar procs, which is always nice, and Radiant is very bursty if you crit with double Full Moon. I would probably swap out points in Goldrinn for Faerie Dragons instead :)
so when you use your mirror it gives you HASTE instead of MASTERY because HASTE is higher than MASTERY?
Yes, that's how it works.
@TheREAlHumanGames My mirror still gives me mastery. I think it's based on the actual stat amount and not stat percent :)
Hey just wondered, sometimes you are not using the Moonkin form in combat. Is there a reason?

@holycow6888 Hey! Full moon when you have incarnation up, either by using the CD or by procing arcanic pulsar. Half moon and new moon can you use whenever :)

dont understand ur damage :P i do the same thing as u but i hit like a weet noodle, im doing 150k overal, then again my crit luck does not exist and i do like at best 30% overal crits ina dungeon

i cant do great dps with my druid.. even if im well geared, the others dps do more than me.. im frustrated.. i´ve seen guides, vids, reading guides. etc.. if somebody knows a nice guide, please let me know
@frankm2647 I know the feeling. Balance looks weak compared to most other DPS, and worst of all DH xd Here is the guide that I look at sometimes. But if you have gear and have watched guides and such, you probably just have to practice and maybe try to do higher keys. Balance really suffers in lower keys. whats balance druid like in low keys now?
@MrNesrielNightmare Damage-wise, they are not the best due to mobs dying too fast. But they still provide strong utility with different dispels, combat ress, and CC.
@@MythicBev damn, kinda assumed that, thats why i can never enjoy playing one, dont rlly feel like playing super high keys anymore
