- On Sunday June 12, 2016 at the Forum in Los Angeles, California Team USA and Iran competed in the semi-final round of the United World Wrestling World Cup. Iran defeated Team USA 17 - 15 and would go on to defeat Russia in the finals to become the 2016 World Champions. Highlights used with consent of United World Wrestling. I'm an American. Good job Iran. I wish wrestling was as popular here as it is in Iran. Iran produces some good wrestlers and so does the USA.

You can see why the utterly çorrupt Innternational Olympic Committee excluded wrestling from the Olympics. If the Iranians, Russians, etc defeat USA then let's have snowboarding instead. What a crock. Wrestling is one of the most ancient and broadly practiced sports. Even with all it's money and facilities and three times the population, the US didn't win. Good for you Iranians.

Back in 2016 a lot of our best wrestlers were all in the same weight classes which made us not so good overall but we had some very good wrestlers that weren’t even on the team. Now that everyone has grown into their weights and others have matured we have a top notch team.

چرا حسن رحیمی هر سال آخر کشتی با حریف آمریکایی الکی درگیر میشه؟سال ۲۰۱۵ هم با حریف دیگر آمریکایی همینطور آخر کشتی درگیر شد
