It wasn't obvious in real time and the ref did not have a view if that side. If SIU hadn't been pinned, I might have diffferent opinion, but that is wrestling and life. Cheating is a strong word. Illegal yes. That situation could have happened without intention, cuff the head and snap. Headgear gets caught. One reason I never like that style of headgear, too easy to grab accidentally or otherwise.

You colleges want to have better officiating buck up and pay for two officials at all duels and tournaments and pay officials for all the time they travel and train. Most of these guys are working fulltime jobs and take vacation days to get to duels that don't even come close to what their day job pays. I can tell you in full disclosure I know that official and he is one of the best in the country.
