Was ready to skip and slate but found a lot of useful and really valid arguments in what you had to share. Thank you for showing positive stories and useful advice on how to introduce a baby to dogs. I have two Shiba Inus and literally just got home with my first born and now I’m watching this video whilst my wife feeds 😊
Loved this video. Poogi is my doggy of 15 years and I try my best to give him as much attention as possible now that my son Mason born 10 Feb 2019 is home. I do not want Poogi to feel neglected after all he is big brother and he was my only baby for 15 years
I’m glad you guys made a video on this, I have 2 big dogs and will be due late May with our first baby. Our dogs are spoiled (thanks to dog dad) and I’m not sure how I would tackle this. My older dog, a gentle giant, no worries with him. But my young bull dog is a little spaz and would be way too rough if given the chance. So I’m not sure what the best approach would be, I’m thinking about having some clear boundaries like no pets allowed in our room, because we plan on co-sleeping. But that would be a complete change to the pups and what they are accustom to.
One amazing book that helped us A LOT while preparing for baby's arrival was "Tell Your Dog You're Pregnant: An Essential Guide For Dog Owners Who Are Expecting A Baby" by Dr Lewis Kirkham. Has a lot of insight and helps figure out some small issues and how to correct them... Loved this video!
My great Dane has been around babies and children off and on since she has been with us, and she LOVES babies. I am due in 11 days, and I plan on sending a receiving blanket home to her so she knows his scent. I feel that she kind of knows I'm pregnant, because she is very gentle with my belly.
Omg this is just what I needed!!! I love you girls!!! I have a small Maltese he’s 8 months and I am currently 21 weeks pregnant! I’ve been wondering how it will be once the baby comes or how to introduce them! This video made my anxiety go away! 😂 🙏🏼 lol thank you for this.
I’m almost 40 weeks. Have a big dog 🐕 at home and two cats 🐱. They are my literally loved kids. So I’m getting very nervous to see how they would react to the new family member. 🤞 😆
You guys, my baby Mason is such a good big brother to Nikash. It took a lot of work though! Please share your tips too!
