Oh, finally, a bit of this! I really hope full episodes can be recovered. People said this show was really bad, but this particular clip does not seem too out of element with the othet Live Action Super Show material. Actually, the prize elements give me some Video Power vibes.
@@Charmolution there is a reason "canned laughter" exists; a live audience is always a risk when it comes to getting the precise reaction you want. The live audience was a bunch of young kids, thus the joke probably completely flew over their head. Take it from me, a guy who needed to become a teenager to laugh at Luigi saying "I'm about to have a baby!" Note how Super Show, in comparison, used laugh tracks.
And just to let you know king koopa hosted the fox kids club as part of the syndication of king koopa's kool cartoons and for anyone who saw a man with a red long sleeve shirt and blue overalls well that would be mario who was in the audience along with many of king koopa's troopas it's hard to notice him without his hat but mario just wanted to check on how king koopa was handling his own spin off tv series

Today is the 35th anniversary of the final episode which aired on November 20th 1989 (also November 20 is world children’s day or as king Koopa calls it “kid’s rights day” yet this episode clearly isn’t the final one as he’s played here by Chris Latta instead of his replacement Patrick Pinney so I don’t know if the writers got the date of the holiday wrong or what)

Atkin was Koopa's voice actor in the animated Mario shows that this show was a spin-off of, but he was not involved with this show (vice versa with Koopa's two live-action actors and the animated shows).

Man oh man, that guy during his all too brief life as a character actor/voice over artist & struggling standup comedian certainly had a lot of interesting roles during the final two decades of his all too brief life. If you watch his unusually clean standup comedy footage on here, occasionally someone that was a standup comic will reply to say that they knew Chris and whenever he wasn't drinking or involved with hard drugs (he unfortunately had his personal demons), that he was an unusually kind gentleman. Sadly he just couldn't control his temper during the overly long shooting hours of voiceover work or acting on camera, it seems as well. A shame, as while he had limited vocal range he was a massively talented gentleman. Seems like his weight issues (which I've also struggled with in my lifetime myself by the way) as well as his booze problems caused him a lot of career heartache.

He was much more known for voicing Starscream on the original Transformers series as well as Wheeljack and Sparkplug (Daniel's father). Also the Cobra Commander on the original GI Joe cartoon. He was also the sharing rural rube/hick husband in Roadhouse (the original late '80s movie) and there's footage of his standup here on TH-cam.
If you listen closely, it's a weird hybrid of his 'Mo' drawl with a touch of 'ol Starscream around the edges. Of course, he was sacked for inappropriate behaviour on set.
This is all the footage we've digitized from this show so far, but we're looking for more - we still have several boxes of 1989 beta tapes full of cartoon programming that we haven't viewed yet, so we may turn up some entire episodes.
