The others on the stage tried to downplay their advantage by going off on tangents like - “we are all beautiful”, “all women are divas”, which was hollow and insincere or “white skin is not a big deal - I had to tan”, “I had to look black” which was actually insulting to dark skinned actors. Manju gave a well thought out, realistic definition of what it means to be beautiful in her film industry. Proud of this woman !
