Smoke Control & Fire Exit Stairwell Pressurization Systems HOW IT WORKS?

The Smoke Control and Stairwell Pressurization Systems are vital building utilities of structures. These systems are life saving machines in the event of fire and emergency.
In the event of fire or "sunog" ang smoke evacuator of smoke control system ay malaking tulong para ma exhaust out ang mga "hazardous smoke" or usok while safely the occupants are evacuating to the nearest exit point where they are safe and secure.
The Stairwell Pressurization System in "fire exit" stairwell are used for evacuation in the event of fire. It restrict the entry of smoke and toxic gases inside the fire exit stairwell through the pressurized air going into the stairwell.@arki-knows

just to add information, stair pressurization pressurizes the stairwell so smoke from adjacent floor on fire or hallway wont enter the stairwell. Pressure inside is controled by a differential static pressure controller to prevent over pressurization restricting fire exit doors from opening

Hi!Sir Jomar how are you? For the pressurization ducting.We used gauge 18 G.I. plain sheet to formed a ducting for the air pressurization.Then we provide aluminum powdercoated louvered for the air pressurization.Yung bugahan ng hangin papuntang stairwell mounted sa wall.

Good Day Sir Noel.For the smoke evacuator it goes working together with the air pressurization system that’s used in high rise structures.For other structure like what you referring it must be equipped with dry stand pipe system.Depending on the used of occupancy as required in the Fire Code.
