this video is packed with techniques, from chipping with chipping fluid, to filling big gaps, to texturizing fabric surfaces. Join me, LPJ Models, as we delve into this interesting build of the Das Werk Kit in 1/35.

I must be mad! It's 2am and I find an LPJ video on my recommendations. A sensible person would call it a day and save the video for tomorrow but I'm not sensible! So it's time for a small whiskey, sit back and relax and watch James perform yet another miracle. Good build as always mate. Keep 'em coming!
I hope you enjoyed it mate thankyou. Appreciate the dedication 🙏
This is why I love this channel, you actually dare to do the obscure, and you do them phenomenally well
Thanks Ben, I do like to mix things up 😀
I missed the premiere James, but watching it now has made my day better, and this camo looks amazing, and the interior looks so realistic.Great weathering too,and can’t wait for more! :)
Thanks KG ! Much appreciated, don't worry, I'm on the bench working away already
Absolutely stunning! One of the nicest builds I've seen in some time!!
That's really kind thankyou !
I'm currently building this kit (I'm in the painting phase) and ran into the same fit issues. I was able to improve the fit by sanding the corners of the bottom of the forward bulkhead. The gap got smaller, but still needed filling. Otherwise it's been a fun build.
That's good to know. A shame for a pretty new kit !
Nicely done. The dunkelgelb paint fade is particularly effective.... 👏🏻👌🏻👍🏻
Thanks Septiccalling8341, I had fun with that part
Brilliant job. Weathering turned out spot on. Well done.
Thanks Barrie
Gorgeous build. It would look great in a diorama... 😎
Thanks Sera ! No plans at the moment for this to go into a dio, but I am currently spending some time under the sea for the next one 😄
@@lpjmodels most intriguing... catch you at the club. 🙂
Great build. Quirky looking vehicle as well. See you in a couple weeks
Absolute stunning work James, it's a credit to you!
Real cool vehicle. Nice build and detailing! I think you're right, sometimes (always) what you think looks cool is more important than what is accurate. Great job.
Thankyou ! Sometimes I think if it looks authentic it doesn't matter too much, plus fun is the goal !
Another lovely build and paint finish 😘
Thanks Bas !
Excellent build James 👌
Thanks mate 🍻
Great build to your usual high standards. Unique looking vehicle with excellent weathering. Too bad that the seams gave you a tough time. I would have used slow dry black super glue to attack the problem. No shrinkage issues.
Lovely job, James
Thanks Andy !
Another outstanding build
Thanks a lot 😄
Nice work James, it reminds me of a roller skate...lol
A great little model James I’m going to have to try the hatching technique on something soon it just adds so much to the material textures.
Thanks Matt , I still need to experiment with the hatching a little more but it's really promising, I was thinking hatching and an ink stipple with a sponge or something for more depth .
Thanks! 🤩
Woah Chris thank you so much ! 🙏
Great build, as always!!! Some small comment : the license plates looks to clean as the vehicle dives in and out the water at a small angle.
Great point ! Thanks for the kind words
Looks perfect.
Cheers man !
Absolutely stunning 💖💖
Thanks a lot Fire King !
Another great build!
Thanks Andy glad you like it !
Absolutely crazy! I love it :)
Thanks mate! 😊
simply amazing
Really Really nice 👏👏
Thanks Alberto 😊
Das ist der Kinderschuhwagen!
Auch eine Verstopfung ! 😂
👍👍👍
Your models are an example of good taste for me. Was the propeller on this machine really made of bronze?
@@Starfighter100500 unlikely, or at least I'm not sure, but I wanted and accent down there
Nice!
nice build!!
I'm glad you like it :)
👍Very cool.
Thanks for the visit Paul !
Great! The tactical markings and license plate remain clean and crisp against the body...otherwise awesome!
I hope you are going to do a diorama for it 👍
Sadly there are no plans at present
Matte varnish at the end of the work, gentleman, or as is?
@@ManuelDeFire as is, because of the windscreen
Great job on the clown car. Its such an ugly weak looking vehicle. I'm glad people are building it but i won't. Haha
It's got a quirky charm
